Does the welcome pack actually look like a welcome pack? I ask because I have had 2 letter off them now, one about the DD, and one today just saying thanks for opening the account, heres the T&C's basically.

Was that the welcome pack, or not?

I Haven't got that e-mail yet but I opened mine the morning Martin's e-mail went out at 8.30am.

For anyone who did apply before it closed, I wouldn't worry. I would be reasonably confident that if you did then you'll qualify for the £20 even if they haven't mentioned this in anything they've sent you. I think the only mention I've seen of the £20 after applying was on an email from ING on March 11th and emails can go astray quite easily. It is unlikely to be mentioned on much of their material because it would probably cost them a lot to start changing all of it for the sake of a limited time offer.

I received the "welcome pack" with the terms and conditions etc. today, the direct debit confirmation yesterday, been able to access my account online since Tuesday I think it was, and my £1 cheque has been cashed but yet to clear. I would expect the £20 early next month and won't be worrying about not getting it until then.
