It's a pain having to get your passport copy signed by a notary. Most of them charge which eats away at your £20!! So I used my companys accountant. Hope it works!

I can't seem to logon to my account....Can't remember my Customer number! Was that confirmed to us! I know we had to choose two rememberable 6 digit codes!

Sorted...I had written it down! Says my account is being set up still and to await written confirmation!

My account is now open with my £1 cheque paid in but yet to clear.

Application was made very early on Wednesday with the cheque being posted that afternoon.

Have you sent a cheque in? If so your account should get opened and then they'll send you a "Welcome Pack" which I believe will have your account and customer numbers. If you've not sent the cheque I guess the only way is to phone them up.

From http://www.ingdirect.co.uk/general/faqs/savings_sa.asp: "Once you receive your Welcome Pack (which includes your customer number) and your temporary PIN (which will be sent to you 3 days later if you applied for a joint account or over the phone), you're all ready to start saving with ING Direct. If you opened an account online after 9 December 2007 you will already have set your PIN as part of the account opening process. Your Welcome Pack will be sent to you within 3 working days."

Mine is now open and accesable online, with £10 balance yet to clear ( I know it only needed £1, but wanted to put some more in to encourage me to save! )

Still to receive the welcome pack, and I opened my account online at 8.30am on wednesday, and sent cheque that afternoon.

I think if you haven't sent your cheque yet due to forgetting to write down the numbers, you can just write your name / address and DOB on the back of the cheque instead? Seen it somewhere on this thread!
