can someone explain this please? How is this possible???

lol actually kids do leave excrement. When my husband and I were in Ibiza two years ago, they had to close the pool for a whole day because a child had decided to do a poo in the water and the whole pool had to be cleaned and disinfected! gross!!!
Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T

What, you need a definition of excrement?

or did you mean, 'what! some people actually let their animals carp indoors'?

Yes it did go a bit off topic but its not on the wrong board. We were talking about the fact the travelodge hotels accept dogs. Travelodges are mainly based in the UK, not sure what that has to do with overseas?

Sorry, Am I missing something here ? You seem to be disagreeing with my statement yet providing reasons why my statement is correct ?

Unless I'm going batty (always a possibility! ) then as far as I can see, this thread, entitled 'Travelodge Room Sales discussion' is on the 'Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning' forum.

As you point out, Travelodges are mainly based in the UK. Therefore I would have expected to see such a discussion on the 'UK Holidays, Days out and Entertainments' forum rather than this one, with all the other Travelodge related discussions that take place over there.

I have never seen Spanisg Dogs in hats and coats either..
Isn't it just dog lovers being overly protective?

Sorry, what part are you not sure is correct?

I never mentioned dogs in hats or coats, though you do see them a lot in Spain.

I am not a dog lover, never owned one, I like my cats.

No it wont be a problem as they only ask for a Ref number when someone checks in so cant see it being a problem as ive never been asked my name when ive stayed at a travelodge.
  • anyone know if this deal extends to ireland?

It wont be a problem but they do ask for the name and address for security reasons.

  • Hello all, am new to this so please be gentle with me!!! On my 1st attempt we were able to book a £9 room in Carlisle, reading up on it it must have been sheer luck going by a lot of your experiences or beginners luck on our part!!! As Carlisle gives us the chance to explore the beautiful Northubrian coast, Scotland ect;. As for dogs in their rooms, i once was bitten VERY badly in a room where dogs had been allowed, it was just awful and spoilt the entire holiday. So for me, unless the Hotel can prove the dog is flea free, and how can they? Dogs should not be allowed. end of!!! Yes, we are dog lovers, but its amazing how everyone has the cleanest dog isn't it? So where are the ones who have fleas or leave hair everywhere. Own up, because you DO exist!!!
