  • I'm too spur of the moment (read disorganised) to use these Travelodge 3 month in advance bookings offers. What's the best way to get cheap deals last minute?

Very little or nil chance with travelodge.

Best bet is probably https://www.laterooms.co.uk or https://www.lastminute.com

You might want to find out whether your hotel is one of the 49 they are walking away from in order to avoid administration

That links doesn`t tell you which ones are affected so what`s the point of it.

After reading several articles today, it looks like the out of the way, non-profit making ones besides "A" roads are the most likely to go (same thing happened to Little Chef).
The popular ones, seaside, cities, large towns look safe enough.

As posted elsewhere, your credit card protects you for anything over £100 and your debit for over a tenner.

I`ve grabbed Bournemouth for 5 nights @ £12, end of March.
There`s stacks of other places at £12 left.
Roll on the Apr/May/June one. :T
  • I am a Travelodge business account customer and book rooms as part of my business travel. Travelodge have not informed any of their account holders of this sale.

The whole company is going to pot!!

I am - I don't get any though, and never have. What should I do then?!
  • On top of our cancelled booking I've so far been sent 3 email questionnaires asking about how we enjoyed our stay in the not yet opened Balham Travelodge!

In Blackpool rumours have it that the Central T/L is to close Feb 2013 as part of the cost saving measures.

Another view .might be that the town/city centre ones will go due to high rents, business rates and being the .most troublesome viz a viz users (stag/hen parties etc.) and those with the worst ratings.
  • Morning all

Just received a email from Travel Lodge for their winter sales 2012

The hotel I am looking to book are on sale for £25 per night over the Christmas period.

Does any one know (from experience) if Travel Lodge have another sale discounting the price again for the Christmas period.

    Thanks for reading
