I'm always a little dubious of brand new devices like this being on eBay. It's only available from Boots so why would anyone buy one and then sell it so soon? Fair enough they may have changed their mind but it still seems a little suspect.

Even odder the same person has already sold one so not just a 'changed their mind' sale. I guess I could ask them how they came upon two of such a thing.

HanSpan.Well spotted . I thought maybe she works at Boots and uses her staff discount . They used to get 20 or 25% off Boots own brand. But sounds "fishy" to me that she is now selling another one .

I noticed that one as well and that she's previously sold one.
Also she doesn't do refunds etc and if you had to buy a replacement handset in the future, or it was faulty, you would have to take it to boots to verify it and do a paypal claim.
Too much of a risk I think at this kind of money.
Hopefully will be able to get one next month :T

I was worried it won't work too, it is a lot of moneyto spend, but IT DOES WORK.

I have done 4 treatments and have hardly any hair on U/A.

BL has lots of bald patches, think maybe another2-3 treatmentswill be hair free.

Only done 2 on legs as it takes a while but hair growth is slower and have the odd bald patch on legs.

I cannot recommend this enough, 2 of my friends have now bought BSS as they were amazed with my results.
Go for it, you will be glad you did.

  • Hi all, I'm new, have joined especially to ask for some advice about this IPL thing. I have been saving up for Aaaaages to get lazer hair removal and then saw this when i was in boots yesterday and spent all last night looking into it online and reading nearly all of this thread.

I do have a question though and I'm sorry if it has been asked before but I havent seen it...

I have been waxing my legs and bikini line regularly for over 10 years, the hair is very dark and i am very fair skinned, but it already only grows back in patches and is not as course as it used to be. I havent shaved any of these areas for so many years and am worried that I may be making matters worse by having to shave before I use the IPL.

Has any one else had any experience with using it after being a regular waxer?? can you still have waxing inbetween if neccessary?

    Thank you :-) xx

Would it make any sense to move this to the Health and Beauty Forum now?
