I have kept away from Boots, because there is nothing I need.

My garage is still very still stocked from last year's Tesco H&B points promotion. DD has a good few month's worth of No7 wipes, and I have enough TD wipes to keep me going for a good while. We even have stock of Stay Perfect mascara. I bought EA moisturisers on the cheap in Superdrug.

Anyway, today I decided to get my lunch from Boots. So, I thought I would see what I could get to make up a £5. The clearance section in Watford is on the ground floor, in between then tills at the front and the up escalator. I bought a couple of cupcakes for 61p each and a couple of apple body scrub thingys for 30p. There was also a basket of reduced cotton wool pads. As they were 80p each, and on bogoff, this worked out cheaper than the own brand stuff - DD uses these to take off nail polish. Anyway, I spent £5.02 and got my first purplie. There was nothing tempting in No7 clearance.
There was quite a bit of Mediiterranean stuff, hair stuff and some Sanctuary stuff - but nothing tempting. I am still working my way through the pink S&G stuff that was fantastically reduced this time last year. I don't need to buy stuff for teachers, as DD is taking her A2's this summer and DS is at university. I have decided only to buy things that I actually need or will need or use. Saying that, I would not say no to things like the Sanctuary brown suede bag which went down to £. I had 4 of those, and still have 2 in stock.

I pop into Boots in Watford fairly frequently and I will post if anything interesting appears in clearance.

BTW, they do have the putting sets, but there was a large sign on the Gillette display saying this was a GWP. They are quite hot on this in Watford. I reckon someone from that store reads this forum!

Happy Bootsing to one and all.

Ok, stupid question alert! I am really going to try and lose some weight and wondered if the 3 for 2 and 1/2 price health club offer on Slimfast works in store? Also, if it does am I best to try and disguise it a bit and can I use points?

Sorry, that was 3 stupid questions! :o

Some of you guys may remember my near death experience with a CD player on the landing and the humiliating sniggers of my offspring as I very nearly plunged naked down the stairs to an untimely (and oily) demise. I decided today that I would set up my Boots wireless bathroom speaker so I could listen to a bit of Guns&Roses in the bath. Yay! :D

Sorry to snip but I actually laughed out loud remembering your post about this geordie lass I can remember reading it out to my OH who was :rotfl:

SHeffield bootsers-random clearance has appeared in frgate, loads of single use cameras and...KY Jelly?!

Also wondering if anyone has managed to use a perkie on the petal eye pallett-it's reduced in my local but couldn't bothered arguing with an SA so may try again tomorrow lol

Thanks ! I will try these out ! I love the way you even look at earplugs from a clearance angle ! icon7.gif x

Is there any other way of looking at anything JT? :rotfl: Hi btw, and remind me never to post up a glitch you might need (highly unlikely - can't find any lol) as I think I replied to your post about 3 weeks ago :D;) x

stmidwife - Afaik the Slimfast offers are all above board, so no need to disguise them :) The 342 and 1/2 price was on the Smoothies when I last looked (which was probably a while ago, so I could be wrong) hth

*Waves* to sally06 - I thought you were missing in action ;)

Btw, does anyone know if SandraScarlett's ok? She seems quiet and her posts aren't as perky (Boots-related ;)) as they usually are

    :hello:Evening All,

Wasn't able to use perkie against No7 exfoliator £3.80 ish, lovely SA said sorry not happening with reduced products apparently it is half price. Scanning the "new" version of this is around £7.xx and works with perkie.

Signs up against Stay Perfect Foundations saying "No7 voucher does not work with these products."

Bit disappointed about the lack of freebies, low cost items with the perkie - as others have said.:(

Girad sets reduced to £5 (dark purple one)
No extracts minis - only mediterranian (sp) minis.
No extra or different ACMs for me except Perfume one - sorry can't recall the type.

Another day tomorrow........... Will be keeping a perkie for change over day as they are valid til 29th and change over day is 25th! Maybe just maybe there will be a wee surprise for us!!
