does anybody know any fake eyelashes that are easy to apply and look really long? thanx in advance
Haven't tried them myself (have looked instore but couldnt find them), but the ones recommended on the '10 Years Younger' programme were the Maybelline ones at £2.99.
Have you ever had them done in a salon? Where I live it is really expensive but recently while visiting my family in Wales I had them done for £15 - would have been £7.50 if I'd gone the day before on 'half price Tuesday'! - and they were LUSH!! Lasted for 3 weeks, so good value compared to the DIY lashes which only last me one night. I felt so glamorous, they changed my life!!! I will definitely have them done again next time I go.0 -

I'm a happy bunny today!
Hiya - nice to see another Boro Bootser!!
I was on a course today and called into the Metro Centre Boots - nothing fab to report. Couldn't find a clearence stand, non of the foc gwp's, both sanctuary packs which were reported as scanning at half price were both full price and got sick of sa's asking if I needed help!!! I must have looked like I was looking for something in particular;) .
I did however manage to get a mini extracts cocoa butter shower cream and gained 300 points which took my total to £50.00 - exactly what I needed to buy the three handbag sized bottles of Chanel Chance only to find it is £2.00 more expensive at £52.00 in Newcastle:eek:0 -

Hi
I will be in Gateshead for a meeting in a few weeks, and can't decide whether to book a train ticket for straight after the meeting or maybe spend a few hours shopping before getting the train. Does anyone know if there is a
boots near Gateshead station, or within cab distance?
Many thanks for any advice.

Hi i don't know if this has been mentioned but i'm bored and just playing on .com and with elizabeth arden (not that i can afford it) you buy 2 items it gives you 1000 points, with 3 items 1000 points and free tote bag, with 4 items 2000 points and free bag and so on... so for about £40 for 4 items(at the least ish) you get £20 of points and a bag. so not bad if you buy this anyway.
hope this makes sense?
oh just noticed for 6 items you get 2 bags, even though it does say 2 or MORE for the points and 3 or MORE for the bags.Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2023 #59 £7008 Paid £570 Owing £6438 #1 H1 £151, #2 H2 £100, #3 O £200, #4 M £1500, #5 Z £295, #6 C1 £340, #7 L £1084, #8 N £840, #9 C2 £19300 -
Of topic but just had to let you know, went into waitrose today and treated myself to a luxry cupcake, chocolate and peppermint, wow wow wow, it was so lush and beautiful it almost better than a night out with dh and no kids, which is saying something. You just have to get some, ive been daydreaming about them all day and wishing morning was here so i can go get more:o:eek:You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

I don't know about this but the laugh you just gave me describing it briefly means that I really need to find out.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Well Triker.... it all started with me trying to recreate a money saving spa experience with a jar of oil and sea salt body scrub, a box of tea lights and a smoochy CD in the player plugged in on the landing......
It ended with me having to get DD to help me out of a slippery bath, tripping over the CD player cable and nearly falling down the stairs naked on my way to get more towels, ruining my newly matte painted bedroom wall by brushing against it with oily arms, having to throw away a ruined bath sponge and rubber gloves then wrecking the door seal on the washer whilst laundering the numerous oily towels. My hands were a mess from scrubbing the oil off the bath...... though the rest of my skin was pampered and silky smooth....
Downstairs my darling kids were beside themselves with [STRIKE]laughter[/STRIKE] concern for my welfare.
This story is frequently recounted by them, usually followed by the one in which our cat dangled her fluffy tail in a pan of (thankfully cold) cooking oil and proceeded to paint the walls, curtains and furniture with it while we were trying to catch her to clean it off. Personally I don't see the connection
There's a jar of Sanctuary sugar scrub in my stash right now but I'm not tempted

You poor love. Hope it was not as painful as it sounds. Hugs to you.
