Successfully getting some of the better glitches often depends on if the SA you pick is willing to try. Its sometimes sensible to buy some other things to 'disguise' your bargain. If the SA won't put it through, please don't make a fuss - they are only doing their job. Just try again another SA / store / day. It is a good idea to try and make a friend in a SA if possible.

3) PARENTING CLUB
You can join the parenting club online (Parenting Club) or in-store. You must be pregnant or have a child under the age of 2. You can only register each child to one card.


4) HEALTH CLUB
Once you have had the offer activated on your Advantage Card as a Health Club member, every time you shop in store you will benefit from the broad range of over 50 selected health products ½ price automatically. If you are over 60 you will also get 10% off Boos products (Proof of age may required for this.)

A tip if you've .com points to collect. If they don't show up on one ACM then try another. A few people have had this problem(myself included) and found that trying a different acm they appear.

Is it accepted under Boots' policy to use more than one voucher per transaction?
Yes! The official word from customer services is "I can confirm that you are able to use more than one voucher at a time per transaction. Our tills are programmed to ensure you receive the best offer available. There is a limit to how many vouchers you can use, but this depends upon the offers you have received and the voucher."

Can i return something without a receipt?
Yes you can but you will only get the current instore price on a GC or an exchange.

Can i use points to pay for an item and still get the GWP?
Yes you can.

If i use a extra points voucher and a double points voucher will i get double extra points?
No you will not. A double points voucher only doubles normal points not offer points.

Can i pay part points part cash?
No you can only pay with points when you have enough for the whole transaction.

Can i combine paying with vouchers/cash/GC?
Yes you can.

Can i return something bought on .com to my local store?
Yes you can.

Do i earn points when buying a gc?
No.

To update yout contact details/preferences/mailings please use the Extra Offers Kiosk in store, visit boots.com or call 0845 124 4545 between 8.30 and 7 (mon-fri), 8.45-5 (sat &sun)

Can i still get the current voucher if i buy reduced products?
Yes you will still be entitled to a voucher.

How many free magzines can i get with my advantage card?
You can get as many as you want but only 1 per transaction.

How often do the AMC offers change over?
They change over every 4 weeks.

I know it will take a while for people to get use to posting in the right place so can we all still be nice and just politely direct someone to the correct thread if they are in the wrong one.

Yes, i 'bought' mine yesterday with points, after accumulating them with mini TS pts.:T

Infact i had to ask the SA to help as i had never put through anything with points on the SS tills before, and it was no problem.

On topic ..........................Olay green box goes through with the cleanser and the pore scrub in a tube at SS tills with no beep (just a very loud 'ONE FREE').Was a bit disappointed with this though - the brushes and mirror feel a bit cheap and nasty and the samples are about the smallest you can get but hey ho it was free! I also got the Stay Perfect compact with a perkie for £1.35 but was disappointed that the No7 voucher from the GWP was for skincare only and would not go through with a make up item.
Spent some points on Soap and Glory to stock up with my favourites but still have a few to spend when the next Estee Lauder gift time is out!

BTW the chat thread is missing!

BTW found a new use for an advantage card ...........................as a scraper when polyfilla-ing (is that a word?).was upstairs and needed a scraper so OH handed me his card!

thanx for the new thread cpg!!

went out quickly to my local and there was nothing really there...no extracts..well couldnt see any and only stuff reduced was dental AGAIN!!! lol so i thought i've got enough of dental things and dont really need anymore so left it. no gillette putting set, no olay GWP, no extracts and no no7 clearance/reductions!!

hate to say it but mr b, boosting is kinda getting boring!!! please please please bring out something to make it fun again!! (e.g. no7 clearance so can spend purkies and reason to spend on dental-get more purkies lol!!!

Yes elisamoose, i felt the same about the Olay GWP. And since i dont feel it is free (spend to accumulate the points), i looked at the box and thought that it would make a great presentation box for a gift. Both the contents descriptions can be totally peeled off...leaving a lovely small gift box. I was thinking...tweezers, small nail file, JF serum, a few select hand-made chocs, even a small piece of jewellery and a gift vchr...from boots.

And as it is a sturdy box, it could/would be kept as a keep-sake.
