Thanks for that, another trip to Boots tonight methinks!:o

The Vichy sets are near the premium skincare. There's a recess with Botanics bits, hair removal and foot stuff. (under the escalator nearest the st david's centre entrance) There's a stand there with loads of Vichy sets. Does that make sense? Cos I can try and explain a bit better if it doesn't?!
    HTH:D

Edit to add: Is it just me or is there nothing decent to get with perkies in Cardiff?!

a few Elizabeth Arden bits (not sure how much)
Elizabeth Arden has 1000 points wyb 2 items on .com at the moment, so maybe it will work in store with the reduced items, like sarnd's fab bargains with the Urban Decay? worth a try ;)
There is a GWP bag as well wyb 3 items, but that might be a glitch too far!

I walked around and stared at them twice willing 'something magical' to happen like a GWP sign or summat............it didn't and I wandered off distractedly.:D

    GLASGOW

    Hi all'
In Sauchiehall Boots today, and was told that downstairs was getting taken over by Argos...so, expect plenty of products to be reduced to make way for only one level of Boots. All electricals and so on will have to be shifted upstairs...seems to me that there will be masses of reductions in the near future. I was told this by a SA.

There were quite a few products reduced today (as said before) but they were mainly sold out, but, there will be plenty more, so keep your eyes open.

    HTH

    Hi Jax 24,
Thats good to know, I remember when that Boots had an upstairs as well as it having a coffee shop !!!
Can't understand why Argos ever moved from Sauchiehall Street as they must have lost a lot of business.
Need to get in there & have a good rummage about thanx

    Hiya JT :D

I knew there was a post I'd forgotten ;) but the wax earplugs aren't like candle wax lol (although I'm not sure what the Muffles that Sally recommended are like :)) They're pliable like wax is, and you give them a bit of a squeeze or roll-around so that they're comfortable, but they don't melt in your ear or anything like that :rotfl: The ones I used to use were used more than once too :o (didn't realise that they were probably single use lol) BUT, they did work :)

Have you looked in the travel accessories in Boots? Or on clearance? They seem to repackage their travel items each year, and I've noticed that in 2 or 3 stores they have last years items in clearance - like passport holders, luggage tags, but earplugs too. The ones I spotted today only contained a couple of pairs (I think) and were 80p ish.

    hth :)

Off to bed. Night peeps. x
Thanks ! I will try these out ! I love the way you even look at earplugs from a clearance angle ! icon7.gif x

Ooh - Boots.com has gone all blank - even when I log in. :( It's only when I try to look at my basket.

Thankyou Tiara. :) Quick q, someone posted that the exfoliator that goes through free wouldn't work with the purplie, has anyone had it work today or yesterday? Don't want to make a bluetit of myself lol. :)
I bought the exfoliator and used a perkie, which the SA scanned, wrote on, then put in the till.
I checked my receipts later and noticed that the perkie had not been taken off and I had been charged for the exfoliator.
I decided to go back and explain that I had used a perkie, so the item should have been foc.
A different SA said that she could refund my money for the item, but could not give me a replacement perkie,
as she had no proof that I had used one.
I asked her to scan the exfoliator , then scan a perkie and see what happened. The till beeped and said ' spend not met'.
I was eventually given a replacement perkie, once the SA had seen that a mistake could easily have been made.
This is my last perkie and I have no idea what to use it on...not much fun really, now that reduced items don't qualify.
