I purchased the No7 kit and the palette and the total was £22.00 however the sa didnt let me have the gwp although i spent over £18 because she said it was reduced. She was quite stern about it and harsh in her tone as if i was stealing it or something..I hadn't even picked it up I only asked.
This is puzzling to me because when I brought the same pallette for £35 reduced form £70 they happily gave the gwp then and there was no issue of it being reduced then!?

Just to clarify, the No7 make up pallette which Amber mentioned, is the No7 Artist Complete Colour Collection, 75% off. For those who missed it during xmas, it's your chance to grab it , there are plenty of them there.
Regarding the No7 GWP, Cardiff branch staff are normally very fussy about it, especially the batch of staff working during lunch time and the ones working by the front entrance are even worse. Last year when I tried to use Mitchum voucher to get a pinkie tillspit, even after the till printed one the SA wouldn't give it to me. Also they make up their own rules and would question you using vouchers as well. So if you can, maybe try to go there after work. Those SAs are relatively nicer. Also there are many Olay purple GWPs, tried to get one from SS yesterday but the SA wouldn't let me even after it scanned as 0

bought reduced Macleans toothpaste for 64p (thanks to all who posted) and got Vichi travel set for free
tried to use perkie with No7 scrub but till bipped and sa said its because it was redused

At No7 stand today saw promotion of No7 Age Defence Cleansing Balm (cant find on .com). Said: "Available for just 3.50 with your No7 voucher".
Its quite big box, i think about 150-200ml

Well had a couple of weird experiences with boots last week, meant to post it for ages but couldn't get time till now, just have to get it out of my chest and apologise for the long post in advance.

Was in London last week, after reading everybody there has been wombling purkies, I went to a few branches including Highstreet Ken, Bayswater, Fullham, but couldn’t find any? Well, normally I just look into the first basket on the top of the pile (thought otherwise would look odd to go through the whole loads of baskets?) and shelves. Where do you ladies find them? Please share some techniques

One day even requested BF to womble purkies for me, of course educated him with the vocabulary , but no luck either. We announced “mission failed” then took a bus back. I was quite disappointed until BF said “look, purkie”, I looked and an old guy in the front was handing one to the old lady behind him in the bus, saying “you can have it, I don’t know what to do with it”:eek::eek:, I almost jumped over and took it away from her , BF burst into laughs and saying “how ironic”:D

Then another day, went to watch the free movie Marley & Me (which I forgot the ticket at BF’s flat:o), went to a shopping mall I’ve never been before and found there’s a big boots!! And I’ve found a clearance section full of No7 goodies including the Lisa Eldridge palette that I’ve been after for a long time. Asked a male SA nearby how much was it. He said 50p without any hesitation. After 3 seconds of silence I said “what”, he repeated "50p". After seeing me not believing him, he said he scanned one yesterday and it was 50p, and to prove it he took it to the till and scanned it, mumbling “50p”, “override” etc etc and the till showed 50p. Do you think he’s overridden it just to prove he’s right?? :rotfl::rotfl:Anyway I’m not complaining. So went and got 3 of those and one foundation marked as £7.15, then he scanned everything into 50p!!! :eek::eek:I was overwhelmed. Wanted to get more and make £5, so asked him can I go back and get more, he’s lovely and telling me “yeah, go ahead, not that I have anything else to do anyway”,:rotfl::rotfl: then left the till to fill his shelves and I went to get more, finally got

Lisa Eldrige palette 50p x 3 (pic on ebay here , not mine by the way)
Ltd eye palette 50p x2
No7 stay perfect foundation 50p x2
No7 black purse with mirror and brush in 50p x 3 (found a pic on ebay here , not mine again)

Handed in the ONLY and ONE purkie I ever had during all this time (please don’t disqualify me as bootser:o:o:o), He didn’t think it would work but he tried, and it worked!!! So I took all these stuff away for free:D:D:D. Couldn’t believe it really.
Wandered around in the store, then went back and thought I’d take a photo or note so I can post the details here. But found the lady whom I told the deal to had taken everything (there were at least 30 of the black purses)!!! :mad: She saw me coming back so talked to me “oh did you come back to get more, sorry I’ve taken all of them, it’s just too good deal”, “you are so greedy” just slipped out of my mouth:eek: . She’s laughing and said “well, you told me, so I blame you”. That’s why I didn’t post it here last week .

Thought it’s quite funny experience anyway. When you want something so hard, it doesn’t come. Then it comes and surprises you at the least expected moment. If boots were a man, I’d be thinking “this is destiny”:p

Hi all went into boots in middlesbrough and they have the N07 Artists collection on sale at 75%off.so instead of paying £70 spent £17.12.:money:Oh and inside they is a voucher for 250 points off any product from No7 range.
Then got 2 boots brush sets 2 for £2.50 and CC duo eyes for £1 so well chuffed with that. Theys one pressie down for xmas.

So used one of my £5 off vouchers to buy more nail varnish £1.10
cocoa extracts body butter for £2.60 instead of £3.91 + got 150 points from ACM machine and 2 tubes of mini eggs for 89p. so gained another £5 off as well.

I'm a happy bunny today!

Is it official that we are not allowed to use PURPLE on No7 stuff that is on clearance or reduced? Tried getting some eye cream today, but the SA said no, she didn't even try it! What a moose.

Also, saw quite a lot of REACH TOOTHBRUSHES at less than £0.50, so keep those peepers peeled.

PS. Don't buy or give anyone the Botanics Men's Body Cream, I swear it smells like animal !!!!!! in a tube! Nasty!

I saw that body cream on clearance but resisted buying any, I've only just managed to persuaded DS1 to use facial moisturiser after shaving but I think he'd draw the line at body moisturiser.
