I was just wondering............ when you get an item price checked by a SA, does it always tell them the current selling price? Or, is it better to just get them to scan it, and void it off if it costs more than you are prepared to pay?
It's just that I have asked SA's to price check the Hand Saviour / Foot cream that some of you are getting 1/2 price, and they are still full price.
However, I have returned an item previously (without a receipt) and they have told me to get goods to exchange to the full, original value of the item - even though it was actually advertised throughout the store at 1/2 price at the time. (which was good as I had actually paid full price for it!!):D0 -
Sandra, I can not be bothered to reply to all of your questions, not out of lack of respect, just because the hour is late.
I do believe that people find it tiresome. This subject comes up with alarming regularity and there was even a vote a while back. So I felt it was better to carry on as normal until cpg and glad chatted and made a decision.
I also felt it was time for people to stop being nasty and stop any 'them and us' whether real or imaginary.
I just feel that whilst alot of people tolerate chat on grabbit, that feeling like they have accidently fallen into the 'discussion time' board may not be welcomed.0 -

(which was good as I had actually paid full price for it!!):DNot that this is really an answer to your question but when HE was on the 100 points offer I found some instore at 1 store for 74p, anyway goes to another store and it is on the reduced stand with clearance stand @£1.47, so I asked Sa to check the price ( she did the thing where she clicks clearance sticker and manually inputs price:o so came up as £1.47 LOL) So I get chatting about them being 74p down the road so she just scanned the barcode to see what it came up as 37p ~ result.
Anyway then the other day I went to another store and found an amazon bag ( the ones free with soap:D ) on clearance with sticker for £7.49 thought I would check and see if it had been reduced any further but scanned at £9.79
So don't know the answer but thought I would tell you my stories anyway , but I thought if you had no receipt they would only refund you the current selling priceThis is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0
