    Hiya Popkins,

Lol@ your shock! Haha...that's what I originally thought when I first heard of them.
Here is the official Mooncup site, which has loads of info, v good site I reckon.

I have one and have used it, takes a little bit of time getting used to the folding method and insertion and I wasn't totally trusting of it at first but it is a very good effective product. (By folding I mean you need to fold the wide area in half then half again, then you insert and it pops open again forming a seal)
I can just imagine your new  face at this point so I think I'll stop with the explanations now. :rotfl:

I don't use mine all the time as tbh I find it awkward unless Im at home.

On topic :D;) I received my Boots order just now in a small, well packed box!!! I was very pleasantly surprised...see Boots HO really do read our comments! :T

I use one and can't praise it highly enough. I've saved my money so many times over in not having to buy towels and tampons every month! Plus it's much more environmentally friendly.

It does take a bit of getting used to (and you need to trim the "stalk" to make it comfortable), but I actually find it more comfy than tampons, and I love the convenience of not having to carry spare ones round with me all the time!

Hi, hope everyone hunky dory today! :D Managed to get the olay gwp(green box),with the definity cleanser, nice but what silly person said yeah thats worth 35 pounds we'll tell them its worth that!! No way would i of paid that! But my mum loves olay so both of those will be going in her mothers day hamper. :j
Anyway thats all they had really apart from some aquafresh toothpaste @54p, no7 clearence stuff was all suncare. HTH :D

Thank you :) was going to trek up there this afternoon, but probably not now :)

Cornmarket was not good - natural collection apple body polisher (lurid frog-sick green net bath puff + leaves) was reduced to 61 p now (it has been there for ages, but no SEL). Foundations still SEL at £7 ish. Couldn't be bothered to price check them :) *wants the clearence back*

I have to go to Plymouth and Exeter next week. A work trip... combined with a bit of bootsing and meal deals on expenses :) oh yeah! :T

    Snipped...

Just got back from cribbs as the lure of the too faced/urbasn decay make up I spotted there yesterday was too great.

Did my first shop on SS tills, clearance stuff wouldnt go through so very helpful SA overrode the prices but still scanned barcode so all offers worked :T:T.

    Extract Lipbalm £2.27
    No 7 Exfoliator £3.80
    Too Faced shimmer veil £3.00
Too Faced duo eye shadow £2.81
    Urban Decay lip gloss £2.50

Used Perkie, 150 extract ACM pointer, 150 H&B extract pointer, 250 no 7 gwp pointer, and received 1000 bonus points for buying 3 urban decay/too faced products.

    So total spent.........................£10.58 (earned perkie)
    total points..............................1550 :T:j:T

OMG, I love Urban Decay and Too Faced stuff. I'm wondering whether I could justify the drive from Cardiff to Cribbs tomorrow?! What a fab deal you got, well done!

Tere wasnt an awful lot of stuff left, and judging by the people crowding round as I was leaving the shop I expect it will all be gone by tonight .

But I overheard the too faced rep said they were lines which were being discontinued, so keep an eye out in your store. :D
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

Popped in Boots yesterday and was so bored with virtually all the current offers. Especially the men's - nothing of interest.
Mr B - sort your crap offers, mate!
Bham Dave, is it only you and I who don't have a clue about mooncups and Shopping trolleys...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just got back from shopping in town where I picked up my free 'toffee apple' muffin from BB's and free 'plenty' kitchen towel both courtesy of todays and yesterdays Sun Newspaper and dutily gave the muffin to DD no1 (don't tell DD No2 and 3!!) cause I have given cakes and chocolate up for lent and couldn't eat it myself .... I had to satisfy myself with just smelling it (although dont tell DD no1 that cause she probably won't eat it!!)
On topic I went into Boots and asked if they by any chance had my order in yet that I placed on Monday (sanctuary!!) because I don't really want to go back into town Monday when it was originally due and it was in... hooray...
There was no sign of any more Olay cleansers and just the same stuff that I saw last week on clearance (med stuff, toothbrushes etc...) Managed to get a No7 Stay Perfect compact for £1.35 with perkie and yet another No7 Stay Perfect foundation in the lightest colour (for DD no2) 'Cream' for £2 with perkie and finally got a new mag!! On my way out of town I popped back in to get an Extracts mini and use the ACM voucher and one I cut out of the mag I had picked up earlier and I went upstairs first (hadn't been upstairs on my first visit!!) and am glad I did cause there was lots of reduced self tanning/suncream stuff for 50p each. I picked up 2 x Piz Buin Body firming summer sensation gradual self tan (50p each), 2 x Nivea Self tan sprays for 50p, 6 x Nivea self tan wipes at 10p each and 2 x Nivea kids Factor 25 Sun lotion which were 50p each but went through as BOGOF so 50p for 2!!! There was lots of other types of Nivea self tan and Piz Buin too. I think these must all be old style packaging and thats why they are on clearance but a great bargain none the less...
Just something to look out for in your into self tan...

BTW DD No1 has just finished the muffin before DD no2 & 3 get in from school and says it was really nice... must get one at Easter!!...

    HTH someone...

I popped into my teeny tiny local yesterday and got a No7 foundation compact thing for £1.3x with a voucher, lots left and SEL showed reduced price.

Also treated myself to a S&G Body Butter as lots of people on here rave about it, and it was 1/3 off so paid with points. The store is too small for testers or minis which is a shame coz I'm not sure about the smell!? Do all S&G products smell like that? I might be able to persevere if the results are fabulous, but tbh it makes me a bit queasy :(

well managed to get to boots today and picked up one of the no7 compack foundation thingys lol but rest of shop was terrible decided to get some extra nappies whilst the baby event is on and 342 tried to use my £5 off £10 spend which th SA refused to even try when i explained i had spent over £10 she informed me very loudly that i was already getting one packet of nappies for nothing due to the 342 and did i want itall free the sales assistant next to her started to snigger and it took all my energy not to break down in cry there and then (emotional wreck recently lol) i said i would leave them then and she replyed "ive seen you in here often trying to con the tills" at which my friend stepped in and said in a quite tone that i had recently started treatment for cancer and this was first shopping trip in boots since way before xmas, i feel so low now and upset that the behaviour of one lady can ruin what was being a positive step for me.
Sorry to rant here -- on plus note im please with my little bits which included some med body range stuff reduced down to 50p but went through with another 20% off:j

Glad you managed to get out and sorry you had such a terrible time at the till.

I think maybe in all walks of life there are people who just seem to like humiliating others, I like to think its because they are lacking in many other areas (makes me feel a little better!)
Enjoy the goodies you got and I hope you continue to get out and enjoy Boots. :D

no reduced No7 left in southport but still had a good shop.

Got a big radox bath gel clearance for 88p, some mediterranean body butter reduced to £1:D, No7 wipes and an extracts lip balm

used 250 points No7, no7 perkie, 150acm extracts, 150 extract from the mag. paid £5.** but got nearly 600 points back plus another perkie. then I did an extracts lip balm again for £2.27 and got 300 points back:j very happy

p.s I am a newbie Mooncup girl - paid for last month with my points;) and I can NOT recommend it highly enough. Was very unsure at first as found it all a bit gross, but wish I had bought one years ago now!!
