gwp - gift with purchase
acm - advantage card machine
perkies - the current £5 off no7 voucher which is being given out when you spend £5 or more.

ACM is the Advantage Card Machine, GWP is Gift With Purchase and Perkies are the new No. 7 purple vouchers that they give out when you spend £5 at the moment. If you have a quick look on the first page there is a list of all the abbreviations, hope this helps.

Never mind - better too many than none!!

Goochie - another tip which I found helped. If you see a post that could be useful ie; a shopping list, open a blank word document and then cut and paste the info into it. You can then print it out and take it shopping with you - I always saw really useful posts and then couldn't find them again:rolleyes:

Hi Sandra, there is a link to a new private chat thread on our Boots chat thread IYKWIM. It looked like some of the refugees may have moved on to there for the time being anyway.

I know Moyilla is still around as I have been in regular touch by PM with her lately, as she was concerned about what she had read on refugees.:think: I was able to answer her questions for her. Hopefully she will be back

Hi, hope everyone hunky dory today! Managed to get the olay gwp(green box),with the definity cleanser, nice but what silly person said yeah thats worth 35 pounds we'll tell them its worth that!! No way would i of paid that! But my mum loves olay so both of those will be going in her mothers day hamper. :j
Anyway thats all they had really apart from some aquafresh toothpaste @54p, no7 clearence stuff was all suncare. HTH

They were in Beckton at the end of Jan/beg of Feb, cos I remember posting about them, and they were reduced to 25%.

I asked about the re-usable carrier bags today. The very helpful SA pulled one out from under the counter and explained that they cost 10p and would be replced if I wore it out. It's blue with pink butterflies on. She didn't say anything about re-using it but I've noticed on the bottom (in the gusset bit) there are two barcodes, one for use when it's sold and the other says barcode for re-use. I bought one and will give it a go, always have one in my hangbag anyway, may as well be a boots one
