I don't trawl my suitcase around locally, but melt into the scenery with Dee's Granny Trolley! But the suitcase is so much better on the Underground and peeps just assume I am going away for an exotic holiday, rather than merely Bootsing!!!

Just a quickie - was in Kingston Boots this am & have compact foundation reduced - SEL says £6** but goes through at £3**!
I am considering getting another one later... if you guys leave any :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Hiya - I actually bought it from a shop in Sutton (Surrey) & it was about £12 - not a well known high street store just one of those shops that sell EVERYTHING - they had one the same as mine in black & white flowers that were nice & pink ones too that were a bit smaller than mine for about £8. Its really funny cos quite often when I'm out I end up with a huddle of 'grannies' around me cos they think its sooo pretty - compared to theirs which are usually boring plain black or navy or something! :rotfl:
I love mine tho - & cos its purple it matches my lovely purple jacket so I'm all colour co-ordinated too...
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :j :j :rotfl: :rotfl:
Ooooh and I agree - I can't be whiffed with being embarrassed either - that made me laugh!! I recently trundled around Bluewater with it and my friend that I was with was mightily happy when after she'd been struggling for a while with her bags I said 'would you like to put your stuff in my trolley'!! LOL!! then she didn't think it was so funny but fabulous!!
:rotfl: :rotfl:
I bought mine from one of the market stalls where they have quite a good selection but I've seen them in independent bag shops too.
Sandra, I like the idea of a pull along suitcase. Maybe I could even persuade DD to pull it along for me if she thinks it makes her look exotic and film starry.... If the WAGS all started using them in Milan there'd be no problem :rotfl:0 -

You might see them in a week or 2 .....................

The Country Living hamper has become a bit of an obsession with me, I lived in hope of one being returned instore while the 75% sale was on, wouldn't care, I can't really eat biscuits and jam but it looks so cute :rotfl:0 -
Mooncups and shopping trolleys - am I on the right thread?
Popped in Boots yesterday and was so bored with virtually all the current offers. Especially the men's - nothing of interest.
Mr B - sort your crap offers, mate! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Just got back from cribbs as the lure of the too faced/urbasn decay make up I spotted there yesterday was too great.
Did my first shop on SS tills, clearance stuff wouldnt go through so very helpful SA overrode the prices but still scanned barcode so all offers worked :T:T.
Extract Lipbalm £2.27
No 7 Exfoliator £3.80
Too Faced shimmer veil £3.00
Too Faced duo eye shadow £2.81
Urban Decay lip gloss £2.50
Used Perkie, 150 extract ACM pointer, 150 H&B extract pointer, 250 no 7 gwp pointer, and received 1000 bonus points for buying 3 urban decay/too faced products.
So total spent.........................£10.58 (earned perkie)
total points..............................1550 :T:j:T
Tried to do this again (minus the extract lip balm as have now run out of vouchers) but went to the till this time, as I had taken up so much of the ss till sa time earlier.
Unfortunately I had the only SA in the whole of Boots land that I dread having. As I approached I knew I would not be successful.
As soon as she saw my perkie she said I wouldnt be able to use it on the no 7 exfoliator, so I told her I didnt want it. She then put through my 3 x too faced products and when she saw it was giving me 1000 bonus points for a total spend of £8.62 she voided the whole sale and started to put them all through under the generic clearance code. I told her I didnt want them if I wasnt going to get the offer points. Felt like a criminal she said you couldnt use any vouchers or gain offers on clearance stuff. I slouched away , feeling very glum and:o.
Decided not to give up, picked up 3 more reduced too faced products went to perfume counter all went through fine. paid £8.62 gained 1000 points,,SA commented on what a good deal it was.
I noticed a big huddle of SAs by reduced too faced stuff as they were all grabbing what they could!!
Used some of my points to then buy Harajuku Lovers perfume (Music) for my DD birthday.
All in all very good shop, but I will now never ever go that that SA again as all my shops involve clearance and vouchers.:o;)now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -

Have just "made" two gift bags for March birthdays for friends of my DD. I used the Soap & Glory Bags, and at the bottom of each I put a No 7 GWP.
I put the "tools" from the mauve Olay GWP in the section where the voucher once nestled. I left the wrapper off, and then on top of the GWP I put a 19p white Wilkinsons Bath Lily. Then I balanced on the lid of the box 2 x Sanctuary Mini Hand Creams, 2 x Body Butters and 1 x Clean On Me, from last month's glitch, which filled the bag. :T
Then I topped this off with a piece of the pink tissue from a No 7 GWP that I am using myself, which has resulted in a lovely gift - well I think so - for £1.19! :j
I'm not artistic enough to make beautiful baskets and cakes from flannels, but if I'd received one of these gift bags, I would have been thrilled. HTH someone who is as cack-handed as I am.

Just a comment about folk leaving cards in the ACM ....if I recall correctly, doesn't the machine actually swallow the card after a delay, like cash machines? I have this (admittedly somewhat hazy) memory of a SA opening the ACM and getting my card out of a little box inside for me, after I'd left it in the slot one day.
Was a long time ago though...could be that the ACMs have changed since then?Val.0 -
I've just totted up t he full price of all the urban decay/too faced make up I got today. And it would have cost me full price over £70!!!!!!
So chuffed I paid £17.* and gained 2000 points :j:j:j:T
