I recently came across https://www.gumtree.com. It breaks down into local sites (e.g. https://www.coventry.gumtree.com) and has a forum for things people will give free to collectors.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it

hey good people.
dont know wether this is exactly the right forum but i do know this could be the biggest money saver of them all...ish !! from the guardian march 8th you heard it hear first,he modestly states. seriously see the potential and watch it grow exponentially. this site, martin and all of us should get behind what hopefully will prove to be a not-for-profit e-bay with tremendous enviromental benefits.
