Yippee!. I didn't realise this section was here. Very nice.
That'll give me something to do this affy. Can I post as many deals as I can find or would this be considered as spam?

Do people realise that the age you can get a bus pass is changing, in line with the changes to State Pension age?I've applied and should get mine soon as I am 60 in 2 weeks time, but DH who's not 60 till Christmas, won't be able to get his until Sep 2011. There's info about this on the Metro website for W. Yorks- don't think I'm allowed to post the link- assume it'll be the same for the rest of the country.DH very unhappy.

For anyone in the First Transpennine train area. They are doing a special over 55 travel offer for routes on their network £5 per zone

"We have split our entire train network into four easy-to-use zones. Travel within one zone for just £5 return and every time you cross a zone boundary it is an extra £5.

The only hard bit will be deciding which of our great destinations you want to visit! What’s more, if you hold a senior railcard you get an extra 20% off.

Club 55 tickets can be purchased from your local staffed station or via telesales on 0845 678 6974. So what are you waiting for?"
