I joined boots advantage health club a few months ago. There are lots of discounts available but the best yet is 30% off my new specs yesterday. Varifocals, transition lenses and a nice boots frame. No wonder I am smiling and by the way I have had specs for 50 years and the boots eye test was the best yet

When I applied I just put in my d.o.b.
They ask if you already have a boots advantage card and if you do they want the number.
I think they then adjust the card to include your 10% discount.
If you don't have a card you have to join up to take up the offer.

AIUI National Express gives a discount (except on Fridays).
Interesting about the trains, as my Wrinkly's Wrail Card is due for renewal in a week  - it'd save even more if I didn't have to spend £25 on the card.
Any one know if this is common?0 -

(You also get this if you are on certain benefits, IB is one, whatever age you are and whether you are on a SRP or not).
IB on it`s own doesn`t count,at least I don`t think so.0 -
