:D:D:D I joined boots advantage health club a few months ago. There are lots of discounts available but the best yet is 30% off my new specs yesterday. Varifocals, transition lenses and a nice boots frame. No wonder I am smiling and by the way I have had specs for 50 years and the boots eye test was the best yet
Have you thought of getting your glasses from glasses direct or one of the others, but still get your prescription from Boots? These companies are very much cheaper than the big stores. regards oap

When I applied I just put in my d.o.b.

They ask if you already have a boots advantage card and if you do they want the number.
I think they then adjust the card to include your 10% discount.
If you don't have a card you have to join up to take up the offer.

AIUI National Express gives a discount (except on Fridays).

Interesting about the trains, as my Wrinkly's Wrail Card is due for renewal in a week  - it'd save even more if I didn't have to spend £25 on the card.

Any one know if this is common?

£10 Christmas Bonus if you are on a State Pension.

(You also get this if you are on certain benefits, IB is one, whatever age you are and whether you are on a SRP or not).

    IB on it`s own doesn`t count,at least I don`t think so.
