My heart goes out to you, I can't imagine how horrible it must be for you and your family to have lost a furry friend in these circumstances.

One word of caution though - I'd not say too much on here about what's happening - it may turn into a criminal investigation and you wouldn't want anything getting in the way of a successful conviction. In the same way as papers can't report too much on cases that haven't reached court - this website is the 10th most popular networking site in the UK, so a lot of people read it. Just be cautious cos I'm sure we all want this thug to have a shockingly harsh dose of what goes around comes around.;)

Oh poor you, how horrible! (((hugs)))

Big kitty lover here, recently lost my old boy and know what a huge gap they leave. How could someone do such a thing??

I truly hope this excuse of a man gets prosecuted, named and shamed.

What a great big pile of festering !!!!!! that man must be to do such a thing!

But they are all against dogs, Can you find any similar against cats.

I am not trying to dismiss it, as it is a terrible thing to happen (we have a cat and when I told my 13 year old he was shocked), just dont want to get the OP hopes up of a jail sentence, altho that would be good.

The court would not discriminate against a cat, it is equally cruel, I don't have the link to hand but someone recently got 3 months for microwaving a cat

This one got community service. Hopefully he'll get more than that when a passing pet lover recognises him.

    I am so sorry.
My dog was killed by a hit and run, it was a postman and we reported it to the police and nothing was every sorted. I swear it was a cover up I know it was as I am sure our local friendly postman had something to do with it. Be care who you talk to IE leave it to the police/RSPCA as if the builder gets wind he might get help in covering it up.
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

I hope that follows him round for the rest of his life, what a total scumbag. If you click on the vermin option and scroll down, this is where I got those cases from:

Steve, I couldnt read more than a page of that, I feel physically sick about the cases, each and every sickening one of them. How humans can be so sick, so evil and so without any feelings - what is the point of these people being on the earth.

I am going to google to see if I can find a group to join who actively campaigns against this - Im afraid I have little faith in the RSPCA. If anyone belongs to animal rights groups, can you point me to them - or pm me if you want.

    I despair of human kind.

Oh my god! I'm so sorry for you, reading that post makes me feel sick, how could anyone do that to a cat, I mean how could they do that to any animal  Even if he hated the animal, didn't it enter his sick perverted head that this cat was someones loved pet! I really hope that the RSPCA get him for this. This is the reason there needs to be greater punishment for animal cruelty, these evil people think they will get off with it.
All the love to you and your family and I hope they get the B****** who did this, whatever they do to him is less than he deserves:mad:

I know the cases are really discusting, it shows up how low the human race can sink (I should have put a warning on the link, I will edit it and do that now). I came across that site when I was looking to join an animal rights activist group in the SE (they seemed to have nationwide links) but didn't have much sucess in finding a local one. I don't want to break in scientific labs etc I would want to help catch badger baiters and the like.
