Omg, that is so awful, I am so sorry to hear about your loss!
As the others have said, please contact someone about this, if he can be that 'annoyed' by a simple cat what else is he going to do!

Thinking of you and I hope you hear some news soon

This is awful, OP please keep us updated. Hopefully the RSPCA will prosecute him, his punishment in court is just the first stage as then his name and street address will appear in newspapers and animal rights activists will target him and his home

Whilst I'm not a cat lover,as is obvious by my avatar,I'm by no means a cat hater either, but I hope the !!!!!!! gets his come uppance.

I would echo majority of the comments on here, and seek all of the advice that has been given.

    Good luck in your quest.

If the witness was also working on the building site, don't hold high hopes of them confirming they saw a fellow worker killing your cat.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • I am appalled, how could someone do that?!

I know you must be hurting right now but please do everything you can to make sure he gets what's coming to him. Phone the police, papers, RSPCA and anyone else you can think of.

Anyone who can treat an animal so callously could be dangerous to humans too :-/

ETA please let us know how it progresses as it will be in my mind :(

I have just read this and feel so sorry. This is such a terrible evil thing this man has done, what a brutish thug. I would imagine this is not the first time he would of done something like this. He must be a sadist. I truly hope he gets what he deserves but in my mind it will never be bad enough. xx

I am so sorry to hear what has happened to your cat. For poor poor puss it will have all ben over mercifully quickly, but for you it must be terrible. The monster who did this should be prosecuted . It might help to advise his clients of this "allegation".

So sorry to hear of your loss. Whoever mentioned animal rights activists has a good point. I could possibly point you in the right direction for that if you want. Obviously in order to target the 'man' through the correct legal channels. ;)
  • Agree with everything that has been said here before. Go to the Police and make sure that action is taken against him. What a complete !!!!!!!. If anyone did anything to my cat, I'd be devastated as she's been a much loved and important member of my family for a decade. I couldn't bear something so cruel happening to her.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
  • this is awful, i agree with other posters though that the RSPCA aren't brilliant at getting their !!!!!! into gear, unfortunately!

if it were me i would
    a) inform the police immediately
    b) go and find the witness personally and beg them to help with making a statement
    c) go to the boss of the builing firm and tell them what action you are taking and why
    d) inform Cats Protection League
    e) go to the local newspapers with the story (but check with Police if that's ok first)
    f) make sure i got the name of the person responsible and as a last resort if the Police cannot proceed i would ensure that everyone in the area knows what a total lunatic the builder is
