So stevetodd was yet another person advocating violence on this thread?

Or am I getting it wrong?
Yes you are getting it wrong! Try thinking about it first before you start accusing people and if you have a problem with that PM me as this thread should be about the poor cat that was killed not other people's problems

I'm sorry not a question but just have to get this off my chest, my cat didn't return home last night, very unusual and worried indeed. Then tonight i discovered that she was killed by a builder, apparently she 'kept getting in the way' so he hit her over the head with his spade and murdered her. I cannot believe anyone would do such a thing, i have recovered her body and contacted the rspca who are taking it very seriously, i am so upset and disgusted that a human could do such a thing, she was such a friendly cat. I don't know how he can sleep at night... She was a much loved part of the family, the house will not be the same without her. I hope he gets whats coming to him

Just wanted us all to keep focused on what this thread is about.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Am I the only one who is a little disappointed that the OP hasnt responded with an update, ie did she go to the police etc (maybe she has her reasons). She has been on the forums

May well be a bit 'overwhelmed' by the responses? Could be the Police are not that interested (I've been there) so she may be trying to put it behind her? It was nice to read that so many other people cared though - you read some dreadful things these days?

I am keen to find out what happened too and obviously I hope she gets some closure on this.

She may not have heard anything yet. There was a lot of activity from the RSPCA at first (wouldn't they involve the police if they thought criminal charges could be brought?) but then things do tend to quiet down a bit don't they.

I'd not be suprised if shopaholic hasn't had any news updates herself yet.

  • .. or if any kind of investigation is underway, she may have been told not to discuss it with anyone else ..
  • Do not let this man go. Don't let him get away with this. I can't understand how some people could be so heartless and cruel to animals. Sometimes I think I should become a vegetarian. I mean i'm sure chickens and other animals whose meat we consume go through some really painful experiences.
