    Afternoon campers!

I had a lovely weekend, ate ok and walked as much as I could (not as much as I would at home tho!). Anyhoo, I am 59.8kg today so the numbers are on the way down again, yippee!!! :j

I am at a conference today and tomorrow and had to get a lift, will prob do v. little exercise as there is no gym in the hotel and it's beside a dual carriageway!!! I will try to eat sensibly to make up for it.

Well done to all the losers and welcome to the newbies! Sorry I haven't got much time to post but I read all your posts and you are doing great. Hugs to those who are finding it hard, I know the feeling! We can do it... :A

I lost 1lb when I weighed myself today. My total for March is 4.5lb loss. Not bad, could try harder. This brings my overall weight loss to 17lbs. April I will aim again for the 7lb as I am 40 middle of May and would love to be under 12st by then.
Well done all you losers, espec you, studentmidwife, 5.5lbs is fantastic, how did you do it?

SDH, at least you lost 1lb!! Be proud. :T

Well done to all the losers, you are great! :j :j

I can't weigh in till tomorrow as I'm still at the conference (no scales in my hotel room, bah). Anyway, that'll be my end of March/start of April weight. I did no exercise yesterday and today is looking the same! I don't get back till about 10:30 tonight so will start afresh tomorrow.

Student Midwife - amazing loss - keep it up hun!!

    Well done to everyone!

I went to WW meeting last night and have officially lost 3.5lb in my first week! (thought that 5lb blip on thursday was a bit to good to be true!) Did 30mins swimming as well yesterday so well chuffed with myself, and planning to go to Aquatone class tonight as hubby is home so can look after kids.

Gonna stick with WW as a way of eating as it is obviously working so far and really makes me think before i'm eating. Its nice to have the folder there as a visual reminder as well that i'm losing weight so not to sabotage my efforts!

TOTAL for MARCH - 3.5lbs (but i'm happy with that!)

    See you all in April!

    Afternoon all!! :hello:

How are you all today? You all have a good weekend?

I weighed in this morning, and lost 1lb! Really not sure how as I wasn't even thinking about eating well/exercising!! I think that takes me to a total of 3lbs this month - which isn't quite the half stone I was hoping for - but it's going in the right direction at least! 8 more lbs to go - so I'm gonna have a right good go at it in April and try shift as much of that as I can!!

Nickynoo / Gillz - yeah I'm still following Slimming World, although if I'm honest I don't ever do it 100%. I'm following the basic principles of limiting the amount of bread and milk I have, always (or mostly) eating healthy freshly prepared food rather than processed, trying to eat more fruit/veg etc..... But I always end up with at least one day a week where I'm not even thinking about it, like if I go out for a drink with the girls I'm not disciplined enough (esp after a few vodka's) to count how many syns I'm having - I just write it off and start again the next day.

I think I've just been doing it so long now, that I quite often make the healthier choice without even realising I'm doing it - like I very rarely ever have white bread now, where that used to be the first thing I'd reach for as a snack when I was hungry. But then if I did it properly it probably wouldn't have taken me so long to lose the weight that I have.

I haven't tried the new plan, and I don't go to classes. Gillz, I use this thread and the Slimming World to keep me motivated - it's defo worth at least going along to the class and getting the books etc to figure out how to do it - and if you need to have the class to go to as motivation to stick to it, then I definitely think it's worth the money - but I make do with using the 2 threads and just plod along myself! It definitely works - this time last year I was bursting out of my size 14 trousers - and I'm now just fitting into a 10 - plus the scales look a little better too! ;):D

    xx

PS Gillz - I think I'm gonna give the polefit a try next week - I've just about convinced a few of the girls to come along with me!

Thats great, well done on your weight loss :T I joined slimming world yesterday so I'll see how it goes :)
Oooh, great, its so much fun, are you gonna go to the one i go to? I go on a tues nite n the girl who runs it is lovely n its great fun :j

Hi all. I've joined up on the new April thread so I shall be weighing myself 1st thing in the morning and that'll be both my end and beginning weight. I think on the new thread I'm actually going to post my weight as I think the embarresment will be enough to keep me going!
    Good luck all.
