:o I need help. These last few days have been terrible. I am definitely a comfort eater and when things are not going well, I stuff my face. My husband and I split at the end of January (after 20 yrs together) and things have not been easy. I thought that I was coping well but obviously I am not.
Although I have been running this week as normal, in work I have been caving in and having the treats along with the others. At home, once DD is in bed I am having crisps and chocolate. I think it's a vicious circle - I suffer from low self esteem and have a severe lack of confidence. In my head I think 'well I'm already disgusting, what difference is a packet of crisps gonna make?' Except of course, it's never just 1 packet, is it?

Ok, today I'm going to try very very hard not to eat crap this evening once DD goes to bed. I am running this afternoon and before that I have promised DD that we can go to the park to practise her cycling. That involves and lot of running along beside her and holding the bike etc so hopefully that will help.
Sorry for the depressing post! :o

Just thought I would pop in to see how everyone is doing. Well done on all the weight loss! I have had a horrendous cold/cough/high temperature thing all week and then I woke up this morning with a stomach bug, the kids are ill too. Hopefully next week will be better!

It sounds like we are all in a bit of a pit at the moment - I have stopped eating again and piled some more weight back on - I checked my calorie intake for yesterday and I ate 200 calories and no that is not a mis-print!!

So far today I have had 15 calories and I am not hungry!

Leothecat, don't despair!!! You are most definitely not disgusting and you are going through a very tough time at the mo. Be kind to yourself. Go out with your DD and go for your run and I guarantee you will feel a lot better. I have days when I think 'what's the point?', days when I eat badly (just scoffed 2 slices of bread and jam and that's before lunch!!) and days when I can't be !!!ed to exercise at all. You will come through it. Maybe try making a list of all the positive things in your life at the mo and what you're proud of (e.g. making it through the last 2 months on your own and doing your first 5k run!). Then come back and post it and we'll go from there xoxo

Dragon, your calorie intake is starting to seriously worry me. You are at severe risk of malnutrition. Can you not 'make' yourself eat more even if you're not hungry? I am really concerned about you babe.

Tara Dr Dragon is trying to get food down me and the Docs are thinking about sending me (at the NHSs expense) to a dietician - basically the Docs screwed my eating habits over and now they are trying to put it right!

Dr Dragon is making bacon and egg sarnies for lunch so that should be a good 400 calories right off!

Hethmar - dust yourself off and jump back in! No shame in doing that :D

SDH - bloody hell, a bride who isn't starving herself the week of her wedding, that's a first!!! :rotfl: Have fun xo

she has lost loads of weight .... to the point where the corset on her dress fits on it tight-est setting. So a few crisps/pizza slices aren't worrying her!

Well done to all those who have lost some weight
And to those of you being naughty with the crisps etc, better luck next week :-)

To whoever asked (sorry lost you in a big heap of unread posts!) yes I have a lovely dress from Debenhams. Its black (bride in is red). Straps. pinches in just under my boobs, giving me a lovely waist and then flows out. Knee length. Kinda 2 layers. The top one being black net
    (hope that makes some sense!)

Oh i'm gonna taking the brides dog (black collie) down the aisle and NO (everyone keeps asking) the dog isn't gonna dressed up the same as me!!!

Oh, back to thread, I've lost 2lb since previous weigh in. HURAAH!!!

hethmar - Dragon is right, just get right back on that wagon!!! :T Tomorrow is always a new day!

Dragon - hope you enjoyed the sarnies and good luck with eating well for the rest of the day. :A

SDH - lucky git (your friend!). :rotfl: What is her secret? p.s. WELL DONE on the 2lb loss, go girl!!! You are gonna be so gorgeous in your dress! Enjoy the wedding xo

I went to the gym, it was hard to drag myself there (that Friday laziness starting to creep in!) but I managed to burn 200 cals in just 15 mins doing the uphill walking and then another 125 in 11 minutes running. So 325 altogether! :D I did a few sit-ups and planks as well. I'm glad I went (as ever), it has relaxed me.

The stairs are starting to get very difficult though, my legs just feel very tired! I've only done 7 flights today, might try for 15 before hometime. I must make sure I get plenty of walking in this weekend! Lunch was a stodgy affair (ham toastie) and with dinner out this evening the food situation is not great! But hey ho.
