Tara - that sounds like plenty of excercise to me!
Im at a standstill or even a regression at the moment! haven;t been on the wii fit at all this week. Didnt make it to the gym on tuesday - a friend called and was having a few problems so ended up lcomforting her for ages and missed the session! have also had a lot of family stuff happening to havent been around much.
Why does life get in the way of losing weight??!! Been eating LOOOOAAAADS and enjoying all the rubbish with that sick feeling of knowing i shouldn't eat it....but concoling myself that its TOTM - when i still havent started yet.
Oh well, I know i need to lose weight
I know I need to eat less and excercise more
I know I need to eat more fruit, veg and good things
SO i just need to do it!0 -
plzhelpmesave, it is awful when life gets in the way! I get so annoyed when a meeting or something else prevents me from exercising, or I can't get the food I want at every meal and end up eating something a bit rubbish. Don't beat yourself up, you were a good friend when it mattered and that's important.
As for the food, just pick yourself up and get back on that wagon! We are here to support each other. I'll put my (large and very fattening) scone behind me and get focused for the rest of the day if you will too. Deal? xoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Plzhelpmesave - you were there when someone needed you - good for you! So the exercise went on hold a bit, not tooooooo much of a problem provided it doesn't happen too often
I slept late this morning because the pain kept me awake half the night , but I am here now! Just enjoying my first mug of tea of the day and reading what I can have to eat (and wondering WHY Dr Dragon decided to bring Pickled Onion Monster Munch home with him ) - so next week will be better 'cos he is back at work :rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi all, just thought i'd pop in briefly, just to say well done all and keep up the motivation! I know it's so hard, but hopefully there is a light at the end of this very looooong tunnel!
Weigh in 4 me 2moro - not sure what to think - hopefully a loss again, but you never know! ( i alway's think the worse then it can only get better!! LOL!)
Anyway nipping off for my ryvita with ham and a cereal bar! Mmmm yum yum!
Check in 2moro and will update siggy ( hopefully)
Have a good day all! xx:money::money::money::money:

Afternoon all!! How are ye all today?
Plzhelpmesave - don't beat yourself up too much - you're working towards changing your full lifestyle rather than just a diet - amd that means there will always be the unexpected cropping up! I'll bet even though you've not had a "perfect" week - that you're still eating better than you would've before - even if you're not aware that you are! Tomorrow's another day - so just dust yourself and start again!
Tara you're doing so well! You're such an inspiration!! I wish I had half your motivation!!
Dragon hope the ankle's a bit better soon!
Me - Would someone PURLEES give me a big GIGANTIC kick up the backside!!! I've done no exercise at all this week - and my diet's been really poor too! I've had shop bought sandwiches for lunch - 2 packets of crisps (not both at the same time...) and eaten out twice - I'm just trying to convince myself that it's actually not a good idea to have the salad with chips that I fancy for lunch - but then I'm going to OH's for dinner - and he's making Fajita's - my favourite by a mile - but man are they bad for ye!!! hhhhmmmppphhh!!! So what's one wee portion of chips gonna hurt eh?!
I will get myself sorted out, and start all over again - maybe tomorrow! I might even make it to the gym after work (tomorrow) that is - since OH is away all weekend with his family for his dad's 60th b/day - I can't go because I'm working at my new job - I'm a bit gutted - but at least it means I won't be over-eating and drinking all weekend!! :T
xx0 -
Dragon - poor you, hope you feel better soon! Not sleeping is terrible, I'm sure you are exhausted. Just take care of yourself hun :A
poshstock - enjoy the Ryvita and good luck with your weigh in, I have a good feeling about it!
crapwithmoney - I hereby kick you up the backside! Come on girl!!!! Put the past behind you and move on, skip the chips and go easy on the fajitas tonight! Maybe have less of the unhealthy stuff (sour cream/guacamole etc) and more good stuff (salsa, meat etc). You can still enjoy your faves, just have more of the healthy bits! You can do it and you know you can.
p.s. my only motivation at the mo comes from being terrified of being blobby in a bikini on hols!!! None of mine fit at the minute! I'll probably lose weight while I'm there too (I'm going to Goa, I always lose weight in India :rotfl: ) so hopefully that'll give me a boost when I get back too. Or I could go the other way and put it back on! But we are thinking positive on this thread! :T
I made up for my fatty breakfast with a salad for lunch so am feeling better. I'm making dins tonight so it'll be something very healthy and lean (poor OH :rotfl: ).Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Afternoon everyone
How chuffed am i! I've just been talking to a lady i've not seen for a few weeks and she's just said 'god you've lost weight'!!!!! I'm wearing my baggy combat jeans and big cardy (not exactly flattering but comfy). I hopped on the scales and i've not lost anymore but my body fat has decreased and my muscle mass has increased so i'm fairly happy with that.
I need a kick up the bum too cwm, my diet has not been too god this week and i've only just about kept up with my exercise. My motivation seems to be dwindling latley. To make matters worse i've just agreed with OH to get a chineese tonight. I'll have to be getting on my wii fit to make up for it.

Kicks up the posterior sent out to those that want/need them! Dr Dragon is just setting off some more home brew (thank whatever you hold holy that I don't like beer!). Ankle will never get better but I sometimes have less pain than others and that is another reason for losing weight - it will help with that!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

TDH sorry - I missed your post earlier! How very random that the bride's piling into the munchies the week before her wedding! Are you looking forward to Saturday? Have you got a nice dress?
Well - I caved and had the chips!Just not in the right zone just now - I'm feeling very bloated this afternoon though - so I'm hoping that'll be enough to get me thinking straight again tomorrow!!
I'm totally bored in work this afternoon! Had a wee frenzied burst of work for a few hours there - but I've had enough now and wanna go home!
Dragon & tara thanks very much for the cyber kicks - my posterior is feeling distinctly the worse for it!
Nickynoo What next indeed?! How ruuude! Although hopefully it might help to make us all think twice about buying it! Fingers crossed! I'll start again tomorrow with the diet if you will? You can be my dieting buddy!
