    AMSWORKS.

You get to keep your widget and get a refund of the £7 you paid.

Pay for it first, check your reciept, go to CS and politely tell them you think you have been charged too much for this item. Do not walk out the store without paying, they will do you for theft!

    Hope this helps

Heh well yeah I kinda gathered that would be a bad thing :D I just wasn't sure of the procedure for doing this but thanks for explaining it.

Now out of sheer bedevilment, what happens if the SEL is £7 but is scans at £5, do I get to keep widget + get £5 or should I shut up and get out the store quickly before they realise? lol

On the front of the leaflet it states that some phones go up in price after Sunday though! They may slip up in some stores, so watch carefully!

So am I right in saying on monday morning if the price on the shelf is still including the £15 discount (yellow one) it will go through the till at £15 more than that so then i get an r&r.
Does this count if they still have the flyers out on the side as it states on the flyers that the promotion ends on the 19/03/2006..

    thanks for all your help

ohhh Im just getting to this R & R

been to 2 tescos today both had this error so its possibly a nationwide error

fresh british Pork loin steaks (in chiller, pre packed ) price on shelf £4.79p per kilo but the price on the pack is £5.79 per kilo

Got full refund and product spend £14.00 in one store but the other didnt have much stock and only managed to get £4.00 - but Im really pleased

Just for the record I wanted the HP all in one printer and my usual tescos didnt have them so had to go to another local one, and of cause needed to check the fresh pork, been a shame not to really dont you think.

Also noticed the fresh leg of lamb was cheaper on the packaging than the shelf price - can you still claim an R & R even though the lamb is cheaper than advertised on the shelf
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

Sorry for posting this info here but wanted some info..I bought some ocean spray drinks on Monday from Tesco..pack of 3....they were only 32p which I thought was cheap as they should be more than that.I got them for my daughters packed lunch. They were't shown as reduced the shelf price was 32p for a pack of 3.When I got home I saw the date was DEC 05.....Ahhhhhhhhh
I phoned customer services who said they would ring the store....Went back in yesterday to take them back...They were still on the shelf DEC 05..They gave me my 32p and that was it...Is there anything else I can do about this? That's bad nearly 3 month out of date...

They gave you cash back. What else do you want to do about it?

You could perhaps contact Trading standards who investigate people selling out of date goods?

But "personally" what more are you expecting?

how about an apology and a small gesture of goodwill to thankyou for pointing this out to them as it is actually ilegal to sell or provide food goods which are past their sell by date. "personally" i would contact trading standards, and hope that somewhere down the line someones !!!!!! gets kicked.
