All packs mispriced, but I only picked up one.
Refund of £6.84, no problem.
Picked these up tonight but CS found a SEL to match & even though all exactly the same & mixed up together refused R&R. he said they had two different offers on them - 1 save 40p the other save £1, he said i could have the packs with the better offer if i wanted  had a refund as getting nowhere.
Also had Hula Hoops buy 2 for £2.50 - discount wasn't applied. Yellow SEL stated ended 9/3/06, chap who brought it to CS wanted to put it back as offer still on but CS kept it saying but it's not going through the tills so can't be displayed.
Birdseye Fish Fingers £1.45 reduced to £1 on yellow special offer sel again sel removed - i had last 2 packs on the shelf - how many people today alone have been over charged!
How not to decortate your house book still mispriced two weeks on- didn't bother as i already have one.0 -

Before I went to the self scan with the shopping, I checked to make sure it was still there!! Got to CS asked for a refund and the woman sent a lad off to check the label. He came back and said he couldn't find it. So I took him to the label and guess what......it was gone!!! Are Tesco fighting back with their own dirty tricks? Did the lad swipe it? Was I being watched by security? The moral, is go with the goffer when they are checking the labels!!
May be worth taking pictures with camera phones if you are definate that price is going to be wrong. Through the question back would be why did you buy it if you thought the price was wrong.
BUT it could cause some major embarisment to Tescos and if the above does happen and you have proof ie a photo. then you could write to head office (who should act neutral) and report this. It is illegal to sell for more than the ticket says as we all know, to try and cover it up and remove the evidence is a worse offence and can result is disiplinory (cant spell) action. especially if trading standards are informed.
so if you feel tescos will try and claim the ticket is not there take a piccy."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -

Wouldn't advise this, for a few reasons:
1) Tesco don't allow photos to be taken in their store - although I appreciate you probably wont get caught with a phone.
2) You could have taken the photo at any point - in any store - again I appeciate some phones will tell you the date of a file etc....
3) It will raise suspiscion that you are abusing the policy. Why on earth would someone take photos of price labels? Its hardly normal shopping behaviour. Unless of course you knew the product was going to be overcharged which brings us back round to abuse of the policy....0 -

Forget the morals for the moment, but is "abuse of the policy" illegal?0 -

Tesco stores are private establishments; as long as no crime is being committed they can make the rules. Can I help?0 -

It isnt illegal no, but to be showing the CS or managers photos of the SEL would indicate to me that you were infact aware that there was a problem with the price. the policy doesnt say you must be unaware but charged different from the price on the SEL or product, arguing that you didnt know about the price difference would be harder if you have the photo. I only take phots after the event and with permision of the store which isnt usually granted.0 -
my sil was in tescos yesterday and a lady walked up to cs and said if i get over charged i will get it for free wont i cs said well yes and the lady said ok im off to buy some misprices and i will come back to get a refund.cs staff said i cant beleive it shes going to get stuff for free. :eek:0

Well no I would not do the photo route either, maybe have someone with you to witness the event comes in handy as they can then fret all they like about whether or not a SEL was there (BTW I've had a CS staff try to chuck a label aside standing right in front of a SEL with me and state it's expired so isn't valid... having this halo that I have, I picked it up for her to see the label again! :A ) but if a product has the price stickered on it then no harm in picking up half a dozen as they'd only be sold higher (not to mention illegally) to more unsuspecting customers - *sigh* yet another good deed!
