wendiewoo wrote:Secondly the staff were out in force at least two members on every aisle, checking shelves, labels and stock!!!! So I guess they have had too many r&R s for their liking!!! Or the fact that Tesco staff are paid to do a job and they were doing it, ensuring customers paid the correct price and were not overcharged?Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I wonder if people on here have any views about taking a product back after it has been obtained using r&r.
Would it be legal / ethical to exchange the item for a different product of the value shown on the receipt.
I'm not talking about a refund as I think that's probably illegal ( could be wrong ) but as the sign says statutary rights are not affects, are exchanges permisable?
Thanks0 -
Does anyone else feel as if big brother is watching them as they push their fully loaded trolley round.
What really makes me cross about all this is the fact that it seems to me that once the sel is removed EVERYONE is being overcharged anyway. Is it best not to buy a product if there is no SEL??0 -

I got R&R on a pair of jeans for my son. As he wasn't with me, I asked the CS bloke if they didn't fit him, would I be able to exchange them.
He said that there wouldn't be a problem with that, just that I wouldn't be able to return them for a refund.
In the event they did fit him, so I didn't have to swap them.0 -

I was assuming that when wendiewoo said:
"they were there were removed incorrect price labels"
she meant that the ones on the mispriced stuff were the only ones missing, as I've seen the same a number of times.0 -

I've just got back from Tesco's and had tried to adapt to my new found MSE skills.... I failed miserably though!
I bought some strawberries because I knew they were on here often and did actually need some anyway. When I checked my receipt they went through the till cheaper than on the pack! Obviously I can't go back and claim a refund for the whole lot because I've already cheated them out of a penny?
I also tried to take the approach of looking for products with two prices on but then it occured to me that if I bought it and it was indeed the lower price and someone had forgotten to take the higher price off then I'd have no choice but to keep it.
One big thing I did try was - trying to remember the price. But when you've filled your basket up and got to the till, how can you possibly remember each of their prices?
I'd appreciate anyone posting or PM'ing me with a Tesco Misprice Guide please. Or if there is one on here somewhere that I can read through?
Thanks
