Very little OS here today, been a "pamper" day! I now have neat eyebrows again, plus proper highlights without any grey!

I don't know whether to commiserate because you're between jobs or celebrate because you're out of that place! Nah, on reflection, you're better off out of it. Do the Agency have another placement for you?

Happy birthday Smoky & Halight, hope its been a nice day for you.
    MSD-thinking of you,and Tristan.

Today DH and DS2 had a days work so I've had the day to myself.DH has also been making a window for our friends so at least a bit of money coming in this week.

I've not been idle-took the opportunity to get lots of cleaning and tidying while they were out,I always feel more motivated when I'm on my own for some reason,so it all looks nice.We have a new estate agent coming to see us tomorrow as the ones we had are pulling out of our town and have passed their clients on to these lot.The old one sent an e-mail with feedback from the weekend viewer saying the house was nice but they want to look at more yet.The wife said this to me on Sunday when they were looking round-fair enough, its good to get some feedback.

Had the annual torture of taking the dog for his boosters at the vet.Its not that he makes a fuss,he's good and doesnt bat an eyelid while he has the jab and she gives him a good going over, but he's so silly around other dogs and drags us, so we get the 1st appt. before anyone else arrives and then she lets us out of the back door. They are very understanding fortunately, they like him and make a fuss of him.The lady vet was laughing at him saying he's the size of a small donkey.Glad he's done for another year.

We've had belly pork ,baked potatoes, green beans and butter beans for tea(Remoska'd),very nice too.I had yogurt made in the Lakeland bulk yog maker,I seem to get on better with this than the Easi-yo,better consistency.
Right thats all folks, hugs to those in need.xx

Another one here not knowing whether to congratulate or commiserate with Snowy. Take which one you would like.

Brunch for tea tonight, with very thin pork fillet slices (they do them a lot out here and bacon is v. expensive), and fried mash left over from last night. Strawberries for afters.

Off out in half an hour to a band we know and are very good, think I have won the driving home aware:rolleyes: , but tbh I rarely have to.

Had a long walk along a cliff path this morning, will put some pictures on facebook tomorrow.

    Take care - DG

    Hello everybody.

Happy birthday to Smoky and Halight, enjoy:bdaycake: :bdaycake:

    MSD and JackieO....hugs.

Finger very sore to-day, never realised how much I used that finger....can't even knit so am going mad....lots of other things I could do I suppose but I want to knit!

Did manage to make sweet and sour for dinner....took 2 small lots of 'chicken' out of freezer and only when they were defrosted did I realise that one was chicken and the other lamb....said nothing and nobody noticed! Enough left over for lunch to-morrow so happy with that.

Just discovered that OH doesn't want to go back to day hospital...he is getting physiotherapy there free and it would be costing him about €40 a session if it were elsewhere....he has announced to-day that he is only going because I want him to....could wring his neck this minute but hopefully he will get over it!

Welcome to Trazy, you will like it here

Aussie...I can't see the pictures either

    Snowy...congratulations??

Hugs to all who are in need or want and to all I may have inadvertantly 'ignored'

    Hello all
I too used to suffer with migraines but just the visual migraines - I read on the internet that if you took 2 dispersible aspirin, as soon as you see the inverted C in the disturbed vision, that this will shorten the attack. It worked for me, cutting the time down from 30 minutes to 6 minutes. It is now coming upto 18 months since I last had one but mine did tend to come in clusters. Hope this may help someone but as I said I have only used this for the visual ones.
  • Happy birthday to Smokey & Halight, hugs to everyone else.
