    Welcome Trazy

(((HUGS))) to all who need them whom i haven't mentioned.

DH and I both had our hair cut yesterday so plan to get new passport photos done today. Also need to go to Lakeland if DH feels up to Bluewater, to get some more ziplock bags.

Not sure what's for dinner, there's some mince with carrots and lentils in the freezer so may do cottage pie.

Woke with a headache so all for now, may pop back later on.

Am thinking of you Mudgekin. Take care.
I hope you are having a better day Sybil. Everyone knows the dangers of small children and adult medication but as one who has seen first hand from a family member, what can happen when children get their hands on Mummy's tablets, I can't stress enough how important it is not to leave a toddler alone with tablets. I hope you didn't get too much of a fright.

I've been running errands all morning and have been to the Post Office, butcher, farm shop and Lidl. Tea will be chorizo and sweet potato soup which I saw mentioned on here and a HM granary loaf which I'm about to get started.
It's piddling down outside but I may go out anyway to tidy some of the posts in the front garden as they are looking straggly.

    Take care everyone.

    Morning peeps

Happy Birthday to Halight and Smokybabe :bdaycake: :bdaycake: have a fantastic day!

Sunnygirl - I have a cat that likes the windowsills too, we also have vertical blinds so you have my sympathy :D

Mummysaver - Good luck with getting your puss to improve her aim, i ended up with one of these http://!!!!!!!.com/bbxw8u (replace ! with this without the spaces t i n y u r l )

It`s freezing here today, dull and very windy, not very nice after the last few days of lovely sun, i can hear the birds singing on the television ariel on the chimney though which is always a nice sound. The weather forecast does say rain but thats not arrived yet.

Little oldie has been a bit slow and quiet for the last two days but seems back to normal today thank goodness, we have had our morning walk and i`ve prepped the food for later. Sausage and onion pasta with chicken and mushroom sauce, always a nice filling meal. TBH i don`t feel like running around to do all the bits and bobs before i go to w*rk so i think i shall have half an hour browsing before my shower instead :D

    Have a good day peeps.

EDIT ((((HUGS)))) to Moggins, don`t stay away too long, you will be missed
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

  • Good morning Chums ,have been mia for a little while owing to a family berevement .The funeral is tomorrow, and my niece has been left with two little girls of 10 & 6. very sad, and feel for them all.

Yesterday I was at my youngest DD's and we did a bit of spring cleaning in her kitchen and took 6 bags of junk to the tip.It was quite satifying and when the children came home from school they kept coming into the kitchen to see how tidy and de-cluttered it was !! lets hope we can keep it like that.
We are going to turn out all of her cupboards next week, so more trips to the tip.

:bdaycake: :bdaycake:Happy Birthday to Smokey and Halight, hope you get lots of goodies

I can hardly believe its almost March, it only seems a few weeks ago we were all discussing Christmas. Still the nights are slowly drawing out and hopefully spring will soon be here.
Anyone here given up anything for Lent ? one of my DGD's has given up chocolate, and a DGS has cut back on his X-box use. I am trying to cut back on starchy stuff, bread, cakes spuds, ect.
Well time to get a wriggle on, have put a chicken casserole in my SC for dinner tonight, hope everyone has a good day
    Cheers JackieO

  • Morning all!! or should I say nearly afternoon!!

Redruby - well done to DD, it's great being a proud mum isn't it!

Not much OS today as I am at work all day! Might pop to Aldi on my lunchbreak as could do with some cheap fruit and veg, but worried I will buy other things I see on offer! I must have more willpower!

Had an early night last night, as I had a thumping headache, I put it down to all the pancakes I consumed! Think it was my body telling me off for eating such fatty food when I am trying to diet! oops!

Swimming tonight after work, after popping home first to do dinner, which I am not sure what we are having as yet! Something quick and easy from the freezer hopefully.

A friend at Young Mums group goes to a Street Dancing class once a week and has invited me! So I start next week, kinda looking forward to it, but also worried that I wont be able to keep up! But we will soon find out!

Anyways I am off, my packed lunch is calling!
    Hugs to all!
    Bye for now!
    Hels xxxx
