Morning everyone, had a very restless night just kept waking up between 3 and 6 and decided to get up in the end!!! DD is off to cork today for a basketball match so will be dropping her off in a mo. Off to see our friends new baby tonight (they are the couple who lost their mum before xmas) so will probably be a bit emotional. DS enjoyed his day at his new school to be yesterday and everyone else is ok.
OS wise bm on and wm need to make more bread as freezer is empty and only have about €20 to last till tues on grocery, so will just buy basics and hope we manage. Plenty of flour in so can bake plenty!.
Redruby my daughter is also brill at french she is 15 and got 95% in a test last week (makes you proud doesnt it) we too made it through the early years alone income support etc!! Well done to her and you.:T
Off for a cuppa now and hopefully hang out some washing later, hope it stays dry, looks ok just now the sun may pop out.

morning all,

will be doing plenty of OS today, going to give my house a blitz as my mum is coming over tonight, she lives in chicago and is coming to stay for 2 weeks.
We will be having the shepards pie for dinner which i said i was going to make yesterday but took LO swimming yesterday afternoon, she fell asleep on the couch when we got back so i thought id have a nap with her. We didnt wake up until OH came home from work at 5pm! So i didnt have time for the shepards pie xD

ISOM- i dont have an exact recipe for pesto but i think its pretty simple to make. Basically olive oil, crushed garlic, a few handfuls of basil leaves and whizz it all up in a blender. I also always add some nuts, pine nuts work the best for me but cashew nuts or even peanuts are also really nice to add!

I hope that i find you all well.
Iv not posted in a few days as the twins and i have had a really bad cold all three of us:eek: all at the same time:eek: I have poped on twice to have a quick read but felt to yuk to post. the twins have both been really grumpy too
But never mind all three of us are starting to feel better now.

The twins apart from there colds are doing great! Thay are really getting there veg down them now! and yesterday we mixed a bit of turky in with there veg. thay were a bit unsure about the new tast at first but thay did eat it all. we are going to leave it a week before we try them on a bit more meat.

As its my birthday my wife is takeing me out this evenng for a posh meal at a french place we know in the town. Thay are very pricy there but the food and service are great!!!!!
The twins are off to my moms and dads later today and thay will be stopping there over night as we wont be back untill late.

On the job front im still jobless not a lot about at all at the moment just seem like everyone one its laying off or on 3-4 day weeks.
On the money side we are still ok at the moment but i know of people that i worked with that are now really up agenst it and finding it very hard. iv told them about this site and all the differnt ways tat are on here of saving money.
I just hope that things pick up for them soon.
