Sorry....this is going to be a rant....................today I reached the end of the road with OH's condition, our b*****d poky kitchen, not being able to sew and life in general..............I have spent the last 2 hours in tears, I just cannot go on with the situation any longer, but seem to be powerless to get out of it. We cannot afford to rent a house in the private sector in a decent area, according to the council we are adequately housed in our present rabbit hutch and refuse to move us elsewhere, I scalded my arm on the blooming steamer when cooking supper tonight it hurts like h*** and has blistered and OH cannot see what I am carping about...................GOD GIVE ME STRENGTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know OH cannot help what is happening but why do we have to wait so long for them to do something about it? its 8 weeks since he had the tests and we still do not have an appointment to see the consultant....WHY!!!! I am so stressed I really fear for my mental health. The last itme I spoke to the Dr she told me that my children should do more to help...why for heavens sake ?????? OH is their step father, they all have busy lives of their own trying to keep pace with what is happening, 3 of them live away from us and have demanding jobs....................they do not have the time to help.......the one daughter who does live close to us, does the best she can when she has time. She has a very demanding job, and a family.........

I have no desire what so ever to have social services involved in our lives, I had enough of them when I was a foster mother.....pain in the a*** is the word that springs to mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I am going to sign off .......................enough is enough......
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

I.......Every month with my 'lady time' Some months I can carry on & some months I have to go to bed as I can't stop being sick, heads throbs too much to move it etc etc.......

That was me too when still married to someone who was snipped, but when we split up there was a wonderful benefit from having the Depo jab......no more migraine! I still don't get very many hormonal ones, now have a Mirena coil (the one with added oestrogen!).

Csarina, please go & see your GP tomorrow, they may be able to push OH's consultant for an appointment, also they may be able to push the Council into rehousing if your present home is not adequate for your health & safety. And I can appreciate that you do not want SS involved, but maybe an assessment to get a new home would be acceptable? I agree with your views about getting "more help" from your family - we don't have children just to get back what support we have put into their lives, after all!

    Happy Birthday Smokey and Halight.

Thanks for all your condolences on the loss of my uncle.

AnnieStar, I had not realised how poorly Mark was, I do hope he feels better soon. :kisses3:

Well done to RubyRed's DD and of course to Ruby! You must be very proud and rightly so.
Happy Birthday Halight and Smokybabe:bdaycake: !
Hope you both had a fabulous day.

Glad that the news seems to get better and better Sunnygirl. Your parents must be very glad to have you for support. It is difficult when you are an only one. When my dad was ill I lived an hour away and had no car so living close is a big bonus - just make sure you take care of yourself too!:kisses3:

JackieO sending you and your family prayers and best wishes.
MSD the same goes to for you and Tristan. I hope that he and his family manage to find some peace in time. Have a somewhat inadequate virtual ((hug)).
Csarina, I hope that ranting at least gets it out for you. It sounds like all involved have been Bl*&%*y useless, it is no surprise you feel so frustrated.

    Snowy - erm congrats! :rotfl:

Not had a very OS day today as I had 2 interviews - won;t know the outcome til tuesday so I just need to put it out of my mind. I'm going to see the local careers advisor tomorrow, I am ridiculous, near 30 and I still don;t know what I want to be when I grow up, I am annoying myself now! I just want to tell myself to 'man up and grow some'!
Been trying to cheer up my wee cousin as she is poorly and in her final year at Uni, think a Karrie intervention may have to take place next week if she isnt feeling brighter.
On the OS front got a lovely stew made from LO sausages and veg from the veg box in t'oven for when OS gets in from work. Done a quick clean round and planning operation kitchen blitz for tomorrow.
NB Wilkos had microfibre cloths on offer for £1.49 intead of £2 if thats any help.

Hugs to all - off to watch Masterchef!
    xx

  • sorry to her re tristan diva...like others will pray that he finds peace and pain relief...
Csarina...can understand why you struggle with SSD (I work there so know what its like) and dont know your circumstances so unsure what help may be avail. I do think it would be worth seeing GP to relay how you are feeling and whether they can do anything to help with housing situation...
Hugs migraine sufferers...I get alot and do have meds but they make me feel drowsy so only take when I must...can get them for various reasons but usually manage to battle on but sometimes doesent matter what you take does it eh!
Snowy sorry you got the boot but pleased you no longer have the dilemma...do wonder if it was agency that you should complain formally about the way you were treated...
hugs those that need them...hope those who have been feeling low have had a better day today. Off to do litter trays and stir the starter! Life of excitement me! Very o/s day as didnt pay for lunch or supper!!

    Afternoon!

The baby was lovely, gorgeous and beautiful! And my friend is doing well too lol!

Sunnyday - thanks for the thought, I've thought about these but wondered if they are a pain to clean, my cat would be bound to get everything up the sides! Any advice?

Diva and Jackie - my thoughts and prayers are with you both and your loved ones xx

Mummysaver - I usually just wipe over the outside of the top part to stop it getting dusty, the bottom part i take outside and wash with hot water and bleach, i fill the base before i take it out and pour it down the drain outside, the inside of the lid just usually needs a wipe. The bottom of the tray is much deeper than normal litter trays so the top is ok most of the time. I leave it to dry outside before bringing it in and refilling. When one of our cats was small her hobby was to just go into the tray and dig.....and dig.....and dig.... you get the picture lol, this tray solved all our problems and has lasted for a long time (third cat)
