Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: While it’s easy to wander off-topic that often prevents newbies finding the information they want quickly and easily (please see this rule). Please keep this thread on topic. If you’d like to discuss non-MoneySaving related topics please continue your discussion in The MoneySavers Arms or Discussion Time. heatherw,

Thanks for helping me out here. I think these other newbies have missed the point.

Nice puppy. Reminds me of a recent trip to seoul.
  • dunkadunkadunkadunkadunkadunkadunkadunka BANGRA VOUCHER!
  • back to 80s, i mean the point.

Surely gaining access to a free voucher unfairly is not a money saving tip, its getting something for nothing which you (morally/ethically) are not really entitled to unless you read the magazine.

Whats the difference between money saving advice and out and out freeloading?

    Its obvious to me.

Like the difference between ally sheedy and molly ringwald, obvious.

But never mind i'm not one to say no to free stuff despite it technically not being a money saving tip in the strictest sense of the ideal.

Perhaps the moderator can now lock this thread? The deadline has passed to receive the vouchers, and whether you have indeed received them or not, I cannot believe the amount of abuse is generating among newbies that have just signed to the site and only posted in this thread mainly to abuse each other and/or other moneysavers & the mse site. This is surely not the true spirit of the site? And newbies should abstain from registering to MSE just to post abuse! Please let's stop it here.
  • in all fairness i haven't really abused anyone.

Its an expression of an opinion that happens to be mine.

Is that not what forums are for? Regardless of whether you are for or against the site's ideals. Its about incorporating and facillitating various views in one place.

If you wanna be oppressive and small minded by banning every "newbie" for having opinions that don't match yours then thats pretty sad and elitist.

Why not sign up to letsallpateachotheronthebackandsayhowneatweareandbeclosedminded.com. They have great forums.
