Well i crumbled under the pressure of pastry and bought :eek:, yes i know bought :eek: puff pastry, only to discvoer it had to be de-frosted, so tomorrow it is then :rolleyes:.

Just catching up and still struggling with names...hugs puss re the cat...I have 4 and love them to bits so purrs coming your way from dotty cat (dribbling on my arm!) and a hug from me...
Morwenna everyone reacts differently to grief an it may be that it hasnt "hit" her yet...cruse are great with support and advice...plus free! hugs for you all...plus there is no right or wrong way to grieve...

re the "starter"...its been stirred again (oo life of excitement here!!) and still doesent smell...like thick custard and tomorrow it has to be "fed" again. As for having it for years not sure bout that tbh...am a bit odd with bacteria and have only managed to convince myself this is ok cos you cook it...would struggle with somehing that had been around for years!! Will keep you posted. Got mysef a special silicone pan today and if time tomorrow may even photograph the mix to date (how will ya cope with the anitcipation I ask myself!!)!! My (non o/s) friend was chuccling at me when I said if I went away either she or weezl would have to babysit the mix..makes a change from me looking after the kids eh!!
Great o/s day as no food to buy other than brekkie as lunch and tea out! Hugs those that need them...
Congratulations re the house hockey...how exciting!

Well, I might have a chat with the agency at break time. I'll see how tomorrow morning goes, but if it's anything like today then I won't be back there tomorrow afternoon.

Best wishes to everyone. Sorry for not mentioning more people, I know my troubles are slight compared to what some of you are going through - that much isn't lost on me and I do take notice and empathize.

snowy is th person a supervisor?? Regardless would discuss with a superior to her as clear that there is a huge issue and needs to be dealt with formally....

Luca had some kind of fit this afternoon and couldn't seem to see afterwards so I decided that was it...all is now peaceful in his world and he will be buried with the dogs under the wild fuchsia at the bottom of the garden...thanks for kind thoughts

Snowy I'd be tempted to tell her that since she obviously had enough time to do her work and to be into yours, that she could do both. Seriously, no job, regardless of the pay, is worth letting your health be effected.
