Just a quick hi before I go off to catch up with 2 days of posts. I also have to jobsearch and do some laundry etc today as I will be out at the footy again tomorrow night and then am doing Volutary work for Cafedirect again from 10-3 Wednesday which will take me all day to get there n back too. It is very tiring standing up constantly which is something I havent done in work for years as I am mostly an office worker. By the time I get back Wed I prob won't be online as Desperate Housewives is back and then I have to get all my jobsearch written down as I have to sign on on Thursday at 9.10.
Hope everyone is well ((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Afternoon all,
Back from the Dr, he has given me an inhaler to puff on when the pain gets bad, apparantly it will relax the muscels (sp) down thereand some cream to rub on, he did say that he would have a look if I wanted, but I quickly said no its ok
, could not do with a young handsome man poking around down there :rotfl:well unless he had been invited
, so hopefully I can control the pain now, thanks for the good wishes, you are a lovely bunch xx
Marie, take care of yourself hun, you always seem to be running around after your family (don't we all !!), but take care of you too, hugs for Luka x

Hi all
Havent been around for a while, but haven't slipped.
Looks like the house in California is finally on the market :j Got a phone call at silly o'clock from the lawyer to say everything was moving along nicely, trouble is the US house market is just as bad as it is here, so the fact that its now being viewed means not a lot, but better than nothing I guess!!
Finally got around to putting curtains up at the tiny drafty window in the hallway, the curtains came from the charity shop, and they are held up will a cut down broom handle and a couple of cup hooks. All told the project cost me about 3 pounds.:T
I made some handwash, well actually I made gallons and gallons of the stuff:eek::eek::eek:
Maths is not my strong point, I thought I was going to end up with about two litres and was going to just keep refilling a foaming thing thinking that I would have a years supply, but ho no, I have about a years supply without the foamer, this would be about 5 years worth in a foamer.
Went into home bargains today and saw a nice fleece blanket for 5 pounds, went to go and pick up the cat food from the pet isle, and saw a fleece about the same size with a little cat embroidered on it and tagged as a pet blanket for 1.99. the "human" version was put back. quick smart and in a hurry!!! As the said fleece is inteded to be the inside of my new quilt no one will ever see it,,,,,,,,talking of which must get on with that today.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Afternoon gang, Hope everyone is warm and happy today. I am another one that is really not sleeping too well added to which DH was up at 4.50:eek:  as he wanted to leave for school no later than 6am today:eek:    Reasons for this being a) he has changed classrooms and needs to get in very early to do seating plans as he has all his classes today; b) he was given a laptop just as he was leaving school at the end of half term but the instructions/passwords were not for the laptop he got so he needs to see the computer support staff before school c) he has a load of photocopying that he needs this week the school has a system where the Head of department and either the second in dept or a deputy head has to sign and then counter sign the form
Makes life complicated. To be honest he does most of the stuff he needs on our copier but he is doing revision classes for all of Y11 and some Y10 so that's not going to happen.
Anyway, I am tired. Making very heavy work of everything today. Have decided that we eat far too much bread so I don't need to make any today:o(my excuse anyway) and as for what to have for tea well.....
something will be cooked.:rotfl: (probably)
Had a spectacular nose bleed this morning looked like something out of a horror movie. I was watching a Cookery show(Rachel Allen) and whilst i enjoyed it very much it did make me smile. She was mixing something in a food processor, when I had mine I could never get the lid on without at least 5 or 6 attempts!!:rotfl: She made it seem so easy. At least with the Kenwood I don't have to worry about that.
MeanMarie hugs to you and Lucia. Honestly Marie, you will know when itstime
Snowy Owl hugs to your furry family and good luck in your job.
Tired Mum hugs to your DD.
Celyn great news about the job. The mushrooms sound fab. I would love to do that but wouldn't have the confidence to trust my identifying skills!
Beemuzed hopy you enjoyed lunch!
Purpleivy which school do you work at? DH used to teach in Warrington.
I seem to be having a delivery as a van has just pulled up and he is looking at house numbers. Will finish my posts in a bit.
Ann xBlind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
