Evening all
The fairtrade launch was brilliant - I am full of coffee, chocolate, tea, smoothies and fruit and dd(12) got to meet Harry Hill.
Loads of yellow sitckers on the way home so next weeks meal plan is pretty much sortedI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Glad that the Fair Trade went well. Good for you getting involved!
Tea tonight for me was a healthy option ready meal from MrT. Ham and pea carbonara. On offer at the mo but I wouldn't recommend it. Serves me right for buying low fat. No taste and one piece of 'ham' was very brown and not very ham looking!! I left that bit but ate the rest as I was starving!
had it with a bowl of salad and a stick of celery.
Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday evening

Welcome kaja and well done for coming out of lurkdom! I'm such a gobby cow I can never, even on t'internet, not comment!!
Sorry hot date not as hot as would have liked...had a lovely dream about a man reading to me last night...one can but hope and pray eh! I reacon mine is down some remote village, standng on one leg and holding into a pole. At least if he is he wont mind a woman with boobs that hit the floor and a bit "rubinesque"!! Seriously if I have a quid for every time I've been told "you never know who'se round the corner" my debt total would be obliterated!!
Hugs all and especially hugs for Rowenna, sunny, be and diva...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Evening all!
Well, the meatballs were very nearly a failure... but then I discovered what you lot probably already know. If you add too much egg (I cracked another one in without thinking) you can add extra breadcrumbs and get lots more meatballs for your moneyI managed 40 meatballs from 300g pork and 250 of beef mince so it turned out for the best after all
the other three dinners' worth have gone into the freezer!
ISOM my sister's starter is years old and it's her baby. Be warned, you'll need a very understanding friend or family member to feed it if you go away. When my dad took my sister to Kenya on safari for six weeks she ended up leaving hers with me because she didn't trust anyone else :rotfl:
Csarina - I am jealous! We have a great cooker but our landlord won't allow us to install our own. So we're left with a rubbish one that only has two settings; 'stone cold' or 'incinerator' :mad: even though we have a really good one sat doing nothing in the porch. Yeah, I know I could sell it - but we won't be here forever and I'd never be able to afford such a good one now.0 -

Welcome Clarebelle and Kaja...you will like it here, especially if you have already been lurking.
Hope that you have had a nice birthday Mrs N9eav
Sunnygirl...glad that your dad is improving so well;
Csarina....glad that your cooker is working well....I have found that meat doesn't brown as much when using a roasting bag;
Morwenna...hugs to you and your family;
Beth...lovely to see you back, so sorry to hear about your DB...hopefully he will soon have treatment that will work for him
Had roast chicken and some ham for dinner...we had DS1 and family from Cork for the day so made soup and there was ice-cream and fruit for anyone who wanted it, lots of leftover for at least two more dinners, will freeze to-morrow after I have left OH to day hospital.
Nice to have DD4 and DGS2 home from their ski trip....they had a ball, he won a medal for a ski race and is all keen to go again....rather expensive trip so I don't think that it will be an every year happening.
Good luck to everyone who is back to school to-morrow, hugs to everyone in need or want

ok this is not MS so look away now have just had to collect DD1 from explorers as earlier on today 1 girl said she didnt like another and DD1 said she did but told someone else you get the picture and now 1st girl is denying it and all the others believe her and not DD so no one would speak to her tonight at the meeting except a couple of the boys she is absolutly distraught and now says she wont go back i am crying as she has been silly and has learned a valuble lesson from this but why are some people so spite full
