I've just taken another three boxes of little bear's old clothes round to next door. You see, when he was between four and eight months old all heck broke loose in dear heart's life, and I did what I could to help him... but as a release I bought little bear clothes on ebay. You know, the big boxes of mixed lots. That cost £10 for postage and when the parcel arrives they've made a loss...I never spent a lot, but I spent a little at frequent intervals. Add all the lovely stuff bought for him, well, I did three journeys last week and they helped out with another box, and today I did two trips.
You see, two of their younger relatives are expecting boys and one is a very young girl getting out of an abusive relationship. People were so good to me that I want to pass it on.
And my house is already a lot clearer!
Washer has gone continuously today, but at least I can use the washing line. I think I shall strip the beds.
Hugs to all.
Silvercharming - the little I know of Coventry makes me really want to do a real history tour, so if I ever manage it, I will certainly love to meet for a coffee! And thank you so much for the link!Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
My ds's teeth looked shocking when he was younger and one or two seemed a bit crooked, but he's 15 now and they're looking quite nice. He was checked by the orthodontist a couple of years ago, who xrayed and found that there was actually a tooth missing, we just thought it hadn't erupted! He has 3 at the bottom middle where 4 should be. Good thing, as there isn't room for any more!
Waiting lists are normally long for the orthodontist, think we waited 15 months. If you suspect there may be a future need, it might be better to get her name on the list in good time, but of course you'lll need a referral from a dentist for that!0 -

I went to Asda for chicken and ended up spending £54!!!!!!
I did however buy a set of kitchen scales that are flat and will give me a bit more room on my work surface, an oval pyrex dish for the microwave and some knee highs. I bought butter for 47p so 3 kilos now sitting in my fridge a large pork shoulder joint 2 for £4 stewing steak. 2 chickens, 2 for £5 meal deals, 1 gammon and 1 chicken wrapped in bacon. 12 toilet rolls, a box of washing powder and various other bits, oh yes honey for £1.47 its double that in Mr T's.
Just off to take OH for his walk and then will be programming the oven to 'do its bit' with the chicken for supper tonight.......I have half a lemon cheesecake for dessert sitting in the fridge................the sun has just broken out.....
