Is it just your internet conection that's slow? Or is it slow offline as well? If the latter, try defragging it (which you should be doing regularly anyway). Could you also check how much hard drive free space you have, and how much RAM (memory) you have installed? This might gives some clues. Post again if you need help to get this info.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

To check how much RAM is installed, go Start>Control Panel. Click System. General tab will show how many goats, sorry RAM you have. As a general rule, if your OS is XP and you have less than 512MB, then you should upgrade.
Also check if your Windows Updates are up to date: on same tab, under system, does it say Windows XP...'Service Pack 2' or 'Service Pack 3'?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
