Anyone had any success with getting Amazon to remove feedback? Buyer left a score of 3, stating I had charged double postage. As a result, my score has slipped to 80%. I sent a very polite email to the buyer stating that Amazon set P&P, not the sller, but as I've had no response I doubt she will withdraw the feedback.

Going round in circles with Amazon, as they state they cannot remove the feedback as it is not in breach of any policy and is how the buyer perceives the sale went!!

Just feel I am being penalised through no fault of my own, and Amazon won't take any action.

Amazon will no longer remove feedback unles sit is rude or unless it is deemed to be a review of the item not of the seller.

It can be very annoying, my 3 I got last month was due to the fact that buyer bought an acceptable copy and basically complained that the book was not brand new on delivery, even after emailing she refused to remove it (as did Amazon).

Thanks, thought Amazon wouldn't budge but worth a try.

It's always worth a try. They did remove some feedback for me once but it was before they got tough about removal, I phoned them up and cried down the phone at them and I think they removed the feedback just to make me go away.

You can still send a personal email - from the Order Details page, where it says Contact Buyer, you can click on the customer's name which takes you through to the old message page. You can also do the same from the Manage Orders page. (But remember that once the Charge When Ship becomes effective, you will have to confirm the shipment the new way in order to get paid.)

I quite like the new layout as it records the shipping date on the Order Details page and shows at a glance which items have been shipped on the Manage Orders page.

Thanks i have been clicking the confirm tab but still sending an email anyway. I suppose when it fully goes over to the new system I'll have to stop - it is just handy being able to contact people with brief explanations. For instance just had one that was dated order placed 14th but didn't come through to me until 17th. I never had an pending notice. It may have been something to do with the fact it was European but just being able to explain it had only come through that day and I had sent it by the quickest means just feels like a bit of insurance PR ;)

Bookworm63, I had considered still sending my usual despatch emails to buyers but Amazon specifcally say not to do this and seeing the problems that others have when they break even tiny rules on Amazon I was unsure whether I would cause any problems in doing so.

So have you properly signed up now?

On the matter of the neutral I am still on 97% after one neutral for the post being slow (sent same day, book in excellent condition). I don't sell that many and even fewer than usual seem to be leaving feedback so it is annoying. The only consolation being over the time I have been selling on Amazon you do see fewer 100% so i suppose it is inevitable we all run up against it some time. You can't please all the people and all that....still annoying tho:rotfl:

That is very annoying - I go to great pains to point out a books faults even if they are minor and to the detriment of sales. If you are buying an acceptable book it is the lowest category and I would understand to a certain extent I was taking pot luck.....perhaps Amazon should highlight the categories for buyers prominently.

I think is totally unfair to the seller. If people don't read what they're buying, their stupidity shouldn't affect the seller.

Off on hols on Wednesday so books are on holiday as well. No more sales since the 6 last week.

Utterly dead here. Sorry to bore the regulars, but Amazon wouldn't budge for me on a 3 from a woman who cancelled her order after about 10 minutes, had the refund after another 10 mins, but left as feedback 'never had the book'. Infuriating to lose 100% for idiots.

I had a mad flurry last week after weeks of being very quiet and back to business as usual.

    Happy Hols:D
