    OH no!!
    Know the feeling...
I've had two sales this week so far, been otherwise quiet. Put some cd's on yesterday as well, never sold any of those before. Will be using mus1cmagpie for some of them as getting more money from there.

    Hope you find the book!

I can't find it, I've googled for a picture of the book and I don't even recognise it!

According to my records it was listed around 2 1/2 years ago and I have had a major refurbish of the stock since then so I wonder if I dumped it . Currently I put a note inside my books on a post it note but the very old stock I didn't. So If I take a book from the book shelves in the house I would normally do a quick check on my inventory and make sure it wasn't listed before I dump it. Trouble is I didn't realise until recently that searching open inventory is hit and miss so I may well have not turned up the book yet it was actually listed.

Lots of pendings just recently, luckily they are all converting to sales at the same time (odd eh!) so I ended up with 4 sales today. I still have a £15 book pending, fingers crossed!

Edit: Forgot to say that the lady I sold the lost book to was fine about it. Said she was a seller as well and knew how horrible it was to lose a book that had sold. What a nice buyer.

The only thing i am not sure about with the new confirm when ship system is that it says you shouldn't contact the buyer and give them dispatch details any more. Yet I want to continue doing that as when I buy I like to get a brief email syaing when it was shipped etc. I don't trust Amazon and all their glitches to actually get their automated system working properly. I particularly like the fact that I can use the email to reconfirm the condition of the book.

I didn't realize you wouldn't be able to send a personal email - I like to also in order to reinforce the idea that they should contact you with any problems (ie rather than automatically leave bad feedback)

Just got a neutral feedback score of 3 - with the comment that I charged twice the actual postage. Left follow up confirming postage set by amazon, not me

How annoying JCS1 - its worth a try emailing them to explain though as they obviously don't even realise

I have FINALLY managed to get into my inventory but only after dowloading and installing firefox instead of using Internet Explorer :(
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

You can still send a personal email - from the Order Details page, where it says Contact Buyer, you can click on the customer's name which takes you through to the old message page. You can also do the same from the Manage Orders page. (But remember that once the Charge When Ship becomes effective, you will have to confirm the shipment the new way in order to get paid.)

I quite like the new layout as it records the shipping date on the Order Details page and shows at a glance which items have been shipped on the Manage Orders page.

Bookworm63, I had considered still sending my usual despatch emails to buyers but Amazon specifcally say not to do this and seeing the problems that others have when they break even tiny rules on Amazon I was unsure whether I would cause any problems in doing so.
