Reporting a 0.4lb gain on 12659 calories.
Measurements are all identical to last week, but I am 0.4lb heavier - according to my scales my fat is down by 1.1lb and my muscle is up by 1.4lb.
I have done a variety of exercise this week so probably have toned up.

Hope you're all having a good weekend.
buttons - sounds silly, but try not to worry too much about your hair. I lost tonnes after having each of my boys, and it just came out in clumps - the carpet in my bedroom was covered in it. It did grow back though it seemed to take ages. I hope your Dr. is able to reassure you.
Dragon - I just feel so frustrated for you. Not eating isn't going to be the answer. Do you have a timeframe for taking your meds at the moment? Do you find when you come off them the weight can come off quite easily?
I've been out in the garden almost all day today. My BF and I have been rebuilding my monster shed. We've done loads today, now the panels are up, the roof beams are in, the loft beams and planks are in, and we've made a start on the wood roof. I did all the lifting and moving around of the planks, and got the beams in place, ready for my BF to screw in. Then I screwed in most of the roof planks. It's a hefty old shed, made from pine timber, and pine tongue & groove, and those planks can be up to 16ft long, so they weigh a bit! We also had a walk into town to fetch some more screws. I felt hungrier today, but I think that's because i've been active (I hope)!
Food today:
B - porridge
Snack - banana
Lunch - 1 bacon roll
Snack - a croissant (naughty, but cheap @ 10p)
D - sausages (1 quorn, 2 x 97% meat from M&S), small mash dollop, veg
Snack - some jelly
Tomorrow I will be spraying the shed with paint to protect it from the weather. I may also do some gardening again too if the weather stays dry & sunny. It has been lovely here today, the sun was lovely and warm, so when we had got to a point where we couldn't get any further (still some of the roof wood @ my house) we just sat in the sunshine on top of the shed and chatted. Oh, and best of all it got so warm my OH had to take his top off:smileyhea (I even sneaked a couple of pics of him too, he he).
I have no idea what mothers' day holds for me, although I do know that this year I will get something, as my eldest 2 boys have been to town to buy me something, and the younger 2 asked my BF for some money to go to the shops. I haven't seen my mother for 16 years, so won't be sending her anything! I'll be happy to have a few cups of tea made for me tomorrow to be honest, and just have some cuddles from my boys, although they cuddle lots anyway:T
Right, I'm off to get a shower now and freshen up after a day's graft!:rotfl:One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Meds have to be taken when the pain gets unbearable (which can be once a fortnight or 4 a day!) and no the weight once it is on just seems to stay there!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi Dragon, I have no experience of pain killers making me gain weight, but know how horrible it is to be in such pain that you have to dose yourself up constantly, so I feel for you.
Found out today that my sisters friend has booked in for gastric bypass surgery. She is about 20 stone and has been told that she will lose 7 stone within 3 years and eventually lose a total of 10 stone in 5-6 years. The surgery costs nearly £10,000 which she has got a loan for, so will be in debt. She has no health problems, so there is no need for that surgery in my eyes. It would mean she could only eat small portions, so why not just start doing that now? I think its a complete cop out, she has got down to a size 16-18 before so she knows she can lose weight, why not just use some willpower again? I know everyone has to do whats right for them, but she is not even on a diet at the minute so she hasn't even tried to shift it the sensible way.Grrrrrr! Also, the timescale that they gave her for losing the weight. Personally I think that for a perfectly healthy person of her size and weight, should it not be very possible to lose 10 stone in 5-6 years sensibly?I don't want to say easily because weight loss is never easy, but I think it would be quite achievable.
Foodwise today has been cereal, 1 slice of scrambled egg on toast and spag bol for dinner. I've also just had an asda 79calorie chocolate mouse which was very yummy so I'm quite content. I didn't have breakfast till 11, hence the light lunch. Hope everyone else had a good day foodwise. Tomorrow will be roast duck (YUM!) I have no idea of calories and think I will have a proper roast for the first time in ages, so wont hold back on meat or potatoes and eat the veg as I want it, not because I am forcing myself to fill up on it. Will do lovely roast peppers as one of the veg with it, as that is my fave!
I hesitate to say this...I feel quite in control of my eating at the minute!I have let myself slip workwise though over the past few days, so I need to pull myself up on that. Is it ever possible to feel in control of every aspect of your life at the same time?!
Ok mammoth post over!0 -
Thanks Sary, I know I should just relax about it and my hair doesn't look TOO bad, it's not like it's see through or anything. I'll go to the doctors and get my thyroid checked, I think it could be partly my diet to blame aswell (not for ALL The thinness but some of it) As some days I don't even eat past 700calories because I'm just not hungry and I hear that's bad, but I don't wanna force food down, that's how I got fat!!
So today I've had
1 pack S & V snack a jacks
and erm thats it. Really have 0 appetite since this morning, OH is making spag bol, it's quite late but I'll try and eat down a bowl.
On a positive note, I fit into a couple of size 14 tops today. So pretty happy about that.0 -
Buttonmoons~Hope you manage some spag bol.
Eating only a packet of snack a jacks in a day is so not good for you.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. The main problem is that the medication I am on is steroid based .... sooooooooooooo!
 to your sister's friend - why are the doctors letting her have the surgery? It seems very irresponsible to meDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
