hey everyone,
hope all the mums are enjoying all the cups of teasMy mum loved the meal, she said how surprised i was to cook such a lovely dinner. My yorkshire pudding - blooming hell. Literally thought it would come out flat because the fat wasnt hot enough, but in the end it rose so high it hit the wire oven shelf above it! my biggest one to date i think, 10cms high at its highest point.
Last night i went to a partay, was good to be able to sit down although i did do alot of dancing and by 11:20 my feet were hurting ot much i had to go home! Good night though, my blue dress rocked.
Now im watching the cricket, mum is contented and happy, all is good. BUT i did forget to mention yesterday that my car got CLAMPED. Guess how much that set matthew back? three hundred and forty five pounds!!!!!! Yea so unhappy about that one.
anyway, ciao everyone!0 -
p.s i had some veg today, mange tout, green beans, carrots and cauliflower. I had an apple yesterday too so its fruit and veg overload for me!!
just incase BB thought i was getting malnourished0 -
Brighton - When I'm stressed out I go either way, binge like mad or have no appetite. I do try and force myself to eat and I think the calories would balance out over a week, cause I'm sure somedays I go way over my calorie limit - Like today!
OH woke me up with a cooked breakfast and a box of heroes from DD, awww. Was lush! Supposed to be a roast dinner tonight but neither of us feel up to eating one, so I think I'll cook it later and then strip it down to make meals throughout the week like Chicken pie, Chicken soup, curry etc.
Yum!0 -

I want to say 'surely someone can do something' just to feel useful, but i know full well that you have left no stone unturned yourself and that the answer is no. Life does not always have the pretty and neat endings we think must be there in the name of justice.
Do you under eat becasue you have no appetite? And if so, is that because of the pain or the drugs?
I have never had a huge appetite BB - before the accident I was right at the lower end of the good BMI bit as I was about a stone underweight. Since the accident and the medication piling the weight on followed by the doctors always telling me I was fat because I over ate I now have no appetite at all and any slight bit of stress I just stop eating (as I was told to do  - well okay they didn't tell me to stop eating but they may as well have done - it had the same effect!), so far today I have managed 150 calories and I am full :mad:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi all!
Gosh I have missed out on soooo much!!
TheDragon Sorry to hear about ur battle with the meds and how it affects your weight, hope it all works out for you. I suppose theres not alot I can say, as I have never been there, but it must be so disheartening for you, so I really hope you can find a solution for yourself
Victory Mothers Day sounded like a dream for you, a walk along the river like a family! Wow thats lovely! Glad you enjoyed yourself.
Vixarooni Well Done on the yorkshires!!! Luckily, my andy loves it when the yorkshires are flat and still taste a little uncooked! Ha they're his favourite when they're like that, so it never matters if my yorkshires don't come out perfect :rotfl:
BB well done on the yoga! Get you, going along to a yoga class, I bet this will really boost your confidence, and make you feel alot more positive with yourself. Keep it up! Its fab! I have decided against the hula hoop situation, I figured my andy was right, I would feel alot prouder of myself to get a flat stomach with doing sit ups myself. And it's not very moneysaving to be going spending twenty-odd quid on a hula hoop with weights in when I have already got a bog standard £2 cheapo Tesco hoop gathering dust in the bedroom cupboard!! Ha maybe i could hang my strap on weights around it? Would it have the same effect
sarymclary sounds like you got busy yesterday! I bet ur muscles are aching today??
BeanieLou lol at "I'm Lost" Haa its hard to keep up with this bunch!
DMV:eek:at your sisters friend, that is ALOT of money!! She could have a gym membership for the rest of her life with that amount of money! Jeeeez Hope all goes well with her in anyways as she has made up her mind, and this is her decision. No-one can really judge her, but I know that myself personally I would not like to resort to that method of weight loss. And Yummmm roast peppers, I love them! Well done on feeling more controlled with your eating. Great news
My radio also woke me to the sad news that Jade Goody had passed away. I really felt for her two sons as its mothers day today, and now every mothers day after this one, will be the day they will be remembering her. I too, hope they have wonderful lives to look forward to and that their mum will be watching them from heaven. :A

The past few days for me have been good for me. Well I say good...eventfull!
We did our BIG bike ride yesterday morning, to my work place and back, it's 20miles in total. Well we got almost there, at the end there is a MONSTER of a bank, and I couldn't make it. I had to get off and walk up with my bike, as did andy with me. Half way then...we sat down had a granola bar and some water, then soldiered on for the 10mile home! Two minutes in, I got ran over:eek:Yes....silly me!
What happened was, we were about to turn right and I was asking Andy if this was the right way (stupid, since he knows where he's going all the time!) and he had said, "Come on Linz, pay attention, this is the whole point of doing this practise, so you know where you're going, when you do it on your own" So I was looking around, trying to take in my surroundings and rode straight past an opening where a car was turning out of, I screamed and swerved my bike INTO the ladys car, as she hit me. I scraped all my knee (I feel about 10 saying that!) and really hurt the arm I fell on, but nothing too serious. The lady was obviously mortified. The first thing I did was apologise, and she was about to shout at me until andy held his hand up to her and said "RIGHT!" then she toddled back into her car! Bless him, he knows how soft I am, and if she had said one horrid word to me I would have broken down in tears.. well I did anyway! I was in shockAndy hugged me and squirted some water onto my bloody knee, and I had a hairband on so we used it as a bandage (very inventive!) and I rode the 10mile home! :T Hurrah! So that was my drama for the weekend!!
The bike ride really killed us and since I had suffered some "trauma" we decided on a take-away for sat night - indian. It was so nice, and I felt I had totally deserved it!
Today-no exercise for the injurred. The arm is still hurting me, I have a pile of ironing to face and really don't think I will be able. Food wise has been ok, although I had a few Roses chocolate with Mam, which I took her for Mothers Day, along with a new top and matching necklace and earrings, although, she was far more impressed by the card from MoonPig!!! Lol.
Think I will give the ironing a miss, and rest this arm up. Maybe I could persuade Andy to iron :rolleyes:Marrying my gorgeous Andy27 July 2013 at Gretna GreenSealed pot challenge..Saving for the HONEYMOONWill be cracking open the pot of dreams May 2013 :j0 -
awwwww, linz. I hope he kissed it better for you. I've stayed ontrack mostly foodwise this weekend and am just about to get out of the kitchen before i go offtrack. Mum has made life difficult by bringing mine and OH's easter treats over - so they are looking at me from the worktop, and i could eat them and replace them which is tempting. However she has told me i am not allowed to have them till easter so i shall have to be patient. but mmmm, lindt bunny! and it has some little carrots too which are very cute indeed.
dragon, you always stay so rational in the face of something that would have me blubbing like a toddler and throwing things. I really admire you.
had a very productive weekend, the downstairs of the house is all sparkling clean which i'm really pleased about. I even dragged everything out of hte utility room into the garden and scrubbed the floors which really needed doing. We've been very lucky this winter that some friends have stored a lot of our re-enactment kit which made the job a lot easier. I do like the feeling you get when you look around and it's all clean and tidy. Just wish OH got that feeling too!0 -
