ooh granny - (waaay to young to be thought of as 'a granny') we went to see JS a few years ago and he was sooo entertaining.
I remember last year you saying how much you disliked exercise so the gradual turn around is fantastic:T .
As for me, I went to my 1st pilates class this morning. Hardest bit was getting up at 8a.m.:o . I enjoyed it. Felt shattered at the end - it's both gentle and intense at the same time, but not so bad now and muscled feel pleasntly stretched so p for going again next week.
beanie - my cover is blown: I'm really a cp wrinkly:D .
somnium (you're very welcome)Well done for seeing that precious 12 stone something:T . I think you are right to try and re oomphify yourself though to go for that 12 stone, as once you start the process it is going to be stressful enough, without beating yourself up with 'if only I had tried harder'.
Polkadot:grouphug: That's a lot of streesful thoughts and stuff to deal with. I appreciate the fear re leaving your GP - I felt the same when I moved here 10 yrs ago. If you o have to leave him, remember to join a group practice where you can see who you want so you can try out a few differnt ones til you find one you feel good with. it is so important to feel you have the care and support you need (and deserve) when you have extra health issues.
Hannah - I'd say knowing you ate far less than you would have done but still had a good tim is a result.
PurpleVamp - well done on the loss:j (Have you been to our new aldi's yet?)
Victory - your free range bird will taste great from my experience.
I'm not doing anything for mother's day. My mum and I don't really buy into it I guess(absolutely no criticism of those who do - if you have a great mum, it's good to show appreciation) We will enjoy time together later in the week. She's a wonderful mum and I am very lucky so I always make sure she knows how I feel. I just feel more genuine with spontaineous gestures throughout the year.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

My mum and dad are visiting tomorrow for mothers day so I'm taking advantage and asking my dad to do a couple of jobs for me. I need a new light fitting up, and I've spent the morning constructing a roof out of plywood and shed felt so that i can have a covered area to store wood in. hope you are all having a nice day!0 -
My weight is piling on , it appears that even though I have the coil fitted my system has decided to go back to three weeks ON and one week off, so I have water retention for Britain, my pain has increased, leading to more pain medication, which piles the weight on, I even want chocolate which I NEVER normally want to eat.
I am getting to the stage of thinking "hang weight loss" and just going back to not eating AT ALL as that is what I am happiest doingDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

DS loved the sushi I turned round and it was almost gone:rotfl: I had the tiniest piece and the crab what a palava that is to get a tiny bit of meat out of it:rolleyes: so the lunch was great for an appetite of a 2 year old:rotfl: :rotfl:
Not eating at all?dragon Tadge drastic?0 -
owch dragon, you don;t half have it rough.
victory i loooooove sushi, and crab - for a treat i buy a tin of white crab meat and have it with pasta and a chilli type dressing. i never mess aboutwith actual crabs ,they are just too much like hard work.0 -
Dragon, that sounds awful, I don't know much about the coil, but have never thought it a great thing. I guess it works for some people.
Hope it all sorts itself out soon.
Victory, I love sushi, generally only buy it from Tesco or Waitrose when it is reduced. I find it filling because of the rice and very tasty if you eat it with the wasabi, soy sauce and ginger that they give you with it.

Poor little Dragon! Have a nice :grouphug: and a large :coffee:with a slug of brandy in it, forget about the diet for a while and get your GP to get it sorted!
But whatever you do do NOT stop eating:eek::eek: This forum would not be the same without The Dragon and you know what happens to Dragons who don't eat - their fires go out!
We are all sending you antipain and anti-retention vibes and lots of love:j:j

I notice aspartame has been mentioned on this thread, funnily enough last week I came across some pretty nasty stuff about it.
I read it can cause hair loss/thinning. Is this true?
I just got back from the hairdressers in tears, first time I've been in years and she told me I should go to the doctors as my hair is baldie at the top. I DONT WANNA BE BALD!!
So just went and bought Silca?? Or something, and sea kelp. I knew my hair had thinned loads since I had DD (almost 3yrs ago) but not quite this bad *CRY CRY CRY*0
