  • Dragon, I don't know how you manage to stay so positive, you really have an attitude to aspire to.

KPC, wish my house was clean and sparkly - really need to spend a weekend on it some time - trouble is, I get it all nice and then it all goes to pot again

Linz, hope you feel better soon, glad Andy stopped the lady from a verbal attack - you really didn't need that on top of your crash. Instead of sit ups, have you ever tried 'lean backs'? (not an official movement). If you stand normally and shift your weight slightly backwards you will see you stomach muscles tighten slightly. I do these when I am drying my hair, doing my trousers up, basically any time through the day - works wonders on the stomach and you don't have to set aside a special time.

DMV, not judging your sister's friend at all, 'cos I know that if you can't get your head in the right place you can't get the will power to lose the weight (voice of past experience - and slippery slope always hiding round the corner). But, if someone had said to me - 'okay if you lose the weight I will give you £10,000' I would have had so much focus - what a prize!!!

Vix, I'm sure Matt knows your 'rights' but is there any chance the fine can be overturned?

So sad for Jade's boys, it has probably made it a very poignant mothers day for so many. I am sure that her focus to earn a comfortable upbringing for them will also have saved many other young mothers lives - the numbers of young women attending for tests has shot up - well done to Jade :A

Foodwise has been good today, and I even gave the dog my last two roast potatoes as I realised I was full and it would just be extra for no reason. However, OH went to tesco express today and along with buying himself a load of rubbish, he bough me a little bar of galaxy. Now I love galaxy, and in his defence he would have previously bought me a big bar so was all happy with himself saying "see its just a little bar" but its still 250cals for a tiny amount of chocolate! It's sitting looking at me and I want it but I also think how much chocolate angel delight (mmmmmmmmm) I could have for those calories! How I have changed!

Andyslinz I am so sorry to hear about your accident. I remember nearly being hit by a car when I was a child on my bike, it doesnt matter if its your fault its just so scary and I went into total shock without a scratch on me, so you were very entitled to those tears!

Not had a chance to catch up with the thread, will do that tomorrow when I have more time.

Busy day for me again. The shed is built! Put the roof wood on, and then the felt, and then I painted it. My BF said this evening how lovely it had been to spend all weekend together doing stuff, and that getting the shed finally built means I'll be with him all the time really soon, which he can't wait for. Aww, what a sweetie!

I got lovely presents and a gorgeous card from my boys. They struggled to get me something that wasn't sweets/chocolate, but did well with some scrummy hair products, and some badedas, which I love in my bath. Despite being out in the garden all day from 9.30am til 5pm, I managed to get a roast cooked for tea.

    Food:
    B - maple danish (treat)
L - bacon in nimble bread
D - roast beef, yorkshires, small dollop mash & veg

    Too busy for snacks today.

I was also sad to hear about Jade's death. My 15 y/o told me this morning, as he'd heard it on the radio first thing when he was on his paper round, and said how sad it was for her boys to have lost their mum on mothers' day. Having already lost his own dad, he knows how it feels. We said a little prayer for her, and her family. The tough part is over for Jade, but has only just begun for them.

Right, I'm shattered so must get to my bed now. Til tomorrow guys xx

Thats ok kpc, I use the diet tonic! May I ask a question about your cereal diet? Do you have a proper big bowl of cereal or just a tiny amount? Then for your third meal do you make that a diet meal as well? TIA!

Well here I go again, I know I've said it before but I really am starting afresh today. Was talking to OH last night and pointed out to him only 10 weeks and I'll be preggers all going well and in that time I wanted to get another stone of. The fact its now only 10 weeks really hit him and so he was all enthusiastic about not buying any crap on our next shopping trip, we'll see lol.

    So todays meal plan..

Breakfast - Honey nut waffles and skimmed milk, coffee and OJ

Lunch - Healthy living wrap with a tiny bit of cheese, ham and lettuce. Sugar free Jelly, lots of fruit(satsuma, plum, apple) and a caramel snack a jack.

    Dinner - Turkey stirfry.

After a quick flit on the scales seems that 12.13stone was a cruel tease as Im now showing 13.2 grr could be cos AF is due but still grrr!

Morning all, hope everyone is well and good luck to those weighing in today.

Nice weekend here and I haven't done too bad with the food. Had a nice mothers day and had asked not to be given a pressie (diet & money reasons) so got a lovely card and a picture done by my 3yr old which was a lovely suprise.
Such as shame to hear of Jades passing yesterday morning and I definatley hugged my two boys a bit longer and harder then normal.

    Todays plan is as follows
    milk allowance
    40g spec k
Sausage, potato, peas & salad cream for lunch
Exercise - 62 mins RC dvd with my mum
T -gammon, cauli cheese, veg & maybe a potato
    Wii fit - 30min step
    7.45pm -rc class
    supper - grapes

Scales showing today the same as last Wednesdays at 13 stone 5.0lb would really love to be able to lose again this week as I can't remember the last time I had two consecutive losses! need to lose 3lb to reach the 3 1/2 stone loss marker would love to achieve this by easter but the way I have been going I can't see that tbh.

Right better stop waffling on and get some chores done.

Victory, sounds like a lovely night! (I on the other hand saw every hour of the night with a teething baby so don't quite feel the same lol)
    Have a lovely day shopping.

Somnium - Good luck with the fresh start, hope you achieve the loss you are wanting & hope all goes well with the pg.

Sary - sounds like you had a lovely weekend and worked hard!

Linz - hope you aren't too sore now and I would have been in floods of tears, sounds like Andy looked after you well and that takeaway was well deserved.

Dmv - did you eat the galaxy? I couldn't have it sat there!

Retiredlady, hope your weigh in is better then you are expecting

Katie, do you fancy coming and tidying up my house???

Dragon, sorry to hear that things are so tough for you at the moment. Wishing you well.

(right now I really am off to get some chores done......honest!)
