No I was very good and didnt eat it, I had a 79cal choc mousse instead as it had put chocolate on my brain! I can't believe I used to eat the big bars of it without even thinking of the calories. I still like it obviously but its just not worth it when I can get my fix in other ways without causing any damage. Am really really hoping for another loss this week as, dare I say it, I think I deserve it!

Right off to get ready, walk the dog and go to uni...oh the excitement is unbearable!

    Morning all,

I've had a quick catch up on the thread.

Linz - awww, poor you! I bet you were really shaken up after that. I think a takeaway can only be considered medicinal in those circumstances.

Somnium - you can do it! You've done so well to get this far, so it's not unthinkable to think you could do 1-2lb a week for the next 10. Is there a tiny tweak you could make to your daily allowances, such as cutting out 1 snack, doing 30 mins extra exercise a week? I have had a sneaky peek at the scales this morning, and it's not shifted at all, so I'm determined to stick strictly to plan for the next few weeks too, so I'll be there with you!

Victory - I am envious at your great night's sleep. My neighbour woke me up going to work at 3.30am, then I kept hearing my youngest cough throughout the night too, so am feeling a bit 'hot eyed', if you know what I mean! I hope you have a lovely shopping trip - what did you buy?

Marion - I hope the weigh in goes well for you - fingers crossed!

I am aware that my dieting focus has waned a bit in the past couple of weeks. I don't know if it's to do with willpower, or just being distracted from the task in hand? Anyway, I don't want to keep wasting weeks not losing, so have resolved to try harder. I have two dates to aim for, one is mid-April when I go to visit my best friend in Liverpool (who has also been dieting with me), and the other is to be able to wear a gorgeous outfit (as yet not purchased) to my sister & b-i-l's ruby anniversary party at the end of July (we go away on holiday a week later). I would love to be able to go out to the shops and buy a pretty summer dress in a size 14 - that's my dream. I also want to be as close to 2st lost by mid-April. I've just got to do it!

Next week is mine and my BF's 6yr anniversary (yes, it took a while for me to move in!) and we're going out for a Chinese meal to celebrate, but apart from that, I can be as good as gold.

As a slight variation of usually reporting what I've had to eat, I'm going to plan ahead what I'm going to have.
    Food plan today is:
    B - porridge
    L - chunky soup
    D - quorn sausages & veg
Snack - yogurt & fruit (if I need to have it)

I think I've been eating too many carbs of late, so am going to curb those again, as they defnitely stop me losing weight.

BTW, here's a pic of monster shed, the day before we finished it - it's about the only shot of it without a semi-naked BF in!

Morning folks! My diet was sooooo bad yesterday.

B - Cooked breakfast, which wasn't grilled - stupid OH
    L - Leftover Spag bol
    D - Roast chicken & mayo sandwichs.

Now on the surface that doesn't seem so bad, but they were big portions, not to mention the box of heroes I devoured (well it WAS mothers day) Whats with the gag bournevilles they are adding now? Cheapskates! Bring back the crunchies!

Then OH and I had a huge fight, I'm really at the end of my tether with him, its like living with another child, really. He's 27 soon, and honestly must think I just LOVE clearing up after him, can't even put a plate in the sink, or put his dirty clothes in the washing basket, but has time to play playstation and go out running. I don't know how many times he has been told but does he listen? Nope. He also never listens, if he is doing an errand, I could say PICK UP SOME EGGS, and he will come back with bread? !!!!!!.

Really tired of it all, 2 1/2 years I've put up with this, on the surface it doesn't seem so bad but it's every.single.day, and I am so tired of it all.

Anyways, I'm putting myself down for a STS this week.

I found some cambridge diet shakes in my cupboard yesterday, about 2weeks worth, so to be super MSE I'm about to start them again today and use them up, though I can't do JUST 3shakes a day, will be 2, with low carb snacks and a low carb meal at night.
Wanna try and be in the 11stones before DD's birthday (erm 2 weeks) Let's see how that goes.....

Sary, I too wouldn't have minded seeing a semi naked bloke on here! :p lol

Buttons- my ex hubby sounds just like your oh, glad I kicked him into touch and replaced him with the current MR1hannah! Good luck on the shakes.

Victory, that was such a lovely post yesterdfay about your happy family day - thanks for that. AND you got a good night's sleep. Enjoy your energy today:j .
I had a lousy night's sleep so feel extra achey and tired at the mo. Hopefully I'll reach perkydom by the evening.
Linz - yikes, glad you're ok.
    Buttonmoons:grouphug:
dmv - well done on the changed choc habbits. I guess BF is learning: mine's
a bit like that and means it very sweetly so I'm always torn about refusing/being a bit frustrated with him and appreciating the sweet intent (no pun intended).
Sary - what lovely thing for your OH to actually say (and not just think). Especially after a slight wobble for you last month. Really glad all seems good and ready for you to move in. MY OH and I didn't live together for 3 years and we didn't have kids to consider, so sometimes waiting can be the right thing. Everyone is different. Good luck with the knuckling back down - I think losing weight, getting fit does take a lot of focus and if something else takes priority is does inevitably get shoved down the priority list. Certainly true for me.That's life I guess and will always happen. It's getting back to it that's the important bit. And that's where staying in touch with this forum is so helpful.

Beanie - how's your new plan going?
Hannah - you are so close to 12stone something:j :j
Somnium - great your OH is on side for 'the final push':D . I think you can do it too, or get very near with such a positive goal at the end.
Well done marion on a sts:T & kpc, for sparkly house. Good luck with todays plan.

    Todays sw red menu:
Bkfst: quorn burger, poache egg, grilled toms
lunch: HEb baked pot, cold chicken with HM yog, spoon of mango(2 syns) chutney & rocket salad & raw mange tout.
dinner: HM ratatouille with HEa grated cheese & quorn pieces stir fried in bbq spices. OH will have added pasta leftover from saturday.
snacks: fruit, raw swede, HEb weetabix
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

hannah, your lunch sounds lush! marion, i try not to have the massive bowl that i'd like, but i'm over that 30g portion which i would eat in about 2 spoons. I really ought to start weighing it and gradually decreasing. The plan in the evening is to have a normal meal but to watch the portion sizes and to choose healthier options - so i try to have rice when oh has oven chips, add an extra veg portion, that sort of thing. I had a bad week last week of sneaking extra things in, but i was much better(if not perfectly good) over the weekend. I'm exercising every day, and there is definitely a difference in my shape, if the weight is a bit wobbly(actually , come to think of it, the shape is too . .. . )
