Both are happy fluff, instantly forgetable, fills up the time but you leave the cinema not remembering who starred in it, who was best etc just plain escapism predictable fluff that will end up on dvd at the library for £1 rental for a week:rolleyes:

Big purple hugs to you BB.
  • Hi all,

I have finally taken the plunge and decided to change my lifestyle to lose weight and get healthier. I have been to the drs and my blood pressures is 150/110 which for a 28 yr old woman even the dr was shocked.

I am 5"7 and around 15st, which works out at about a size 18. I would ideally like to be a size 12 and think i need to lose about 4 - 5 stone. I want to do this right and not a qucik fix, i have a lot of exciting plans coming up in the next few years and want to be healthy for them all. I hope to get married next August and also would like kids soon also.

I am in a happy relationship and am fully supported by my guy. So from tomorrow it all changes. I am going to join the local gym (which will cost me £45.95 a month). I want to go gym primarily for the group classes as i enjoy that much more than using the machines in the gym. I know it is expensive but having looked around its the cheapest i can find and i travel there direct from work so will allow me to get lazy and not go.

I am also going to start recording my food diary on food focus to see how much i am eating, and where i may need to cut down.

I look forward to getting to know you all, and many thanks for reading .

Hi Everyone, Can I please join you all?
I have just realised through reading some old letters I sent to my Dad, who recently passed away that I have been the same weight (12st 4lbs) for almost twenty years and have been trying to lose the weight to get down to around 10st for the same amount of time!!!!
So I have decided to try the low carb lifestyle, following the Neris and India's Idiot-Proof Diet since all the high-carb, low-fat plans I have used have resulted in me falling rather rapidly off the wagon!
My OH is whole-heartedly behind me (as he is in everything, bless him) but I was wondering if there was anyone on here following a similar plan? I hope to use this to lose weight then gradually wean back to a high carb (cheaper) diet as it doesn't appear to make me gain weight, just can't lose it!! Need a little daily support/inspiration so was hoping that that would be where you guys come in.
    Thanks for reading my ramblings
    PJ x :j
