OK here's what I've been up to exercise-wise this half term week! It's been a great week! Everything was child-friendly, I ran laps of the park while my son played football there on Monday, he loved his two visits to the play centre at the gym, and today he was invited to the movies so I did get a few hours to do my thing
Monday: Run 8.1km 1hr inc 1 mile fast interval (460 cal)
Tuesday: Gym sesh multi cardio equipment (424 cal) & Weights 1hr
Wednesday: Skipping rope 30mins (212 cal) and Pilates 24 mins (0 cal)
Thursday: Gym sesh multi cardio equipment 2hr (797 cal)
Friday: Body Sculpt dvd 45mins (237 cal)
Saturday: Bike ride 10.7km 33mins (196 cal), Jog 5.5km 40mins (307 cal) and Weights 15mins (0 cal)
Sunday: Well earned rest!
Total 7hrs 07mins and 2685 calorie burn.
Food-wise as long as I stick to plan tomorrow it's average 1642 calories per day. Had quite a few more treats than usual this week and enjoyed them all! No dramatic changes in weight on my two little checks this week, just normal small fluctuations. So once again - couldn't be better!
Hope everyone's having a brilliant weekend :j :j :j0 -
Sadly i don't have a car so can't get to asda and they don't deliver to me, so i can only get shopping from tesco
I switched to Tesco beans too used to buy Branston beans but at £2.49 for 4 tins i couldn't take it any more, prices have gone totally stupid. Even started making my own pizza's with proper fresh dough (breadmaker made of course
) i was paying £5 for 2 tasteless crappy ones. I'm glad i'm finally learning to cook proper meals

evening everyone, sorry I haven't been around much - keep feeling really lousy - my weekly drug I took yesterday (a low dose chemo) left me feeling dreadful. Staggered out to meet a long standing commitment to a rellie today but that's knocked me out too. Hard to withstand the desire to eat feeling like this so giving in but trying for damage limitation.
Hope to be back on form soon. xxI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
BB Im so sorry you arent feeling good, hope you feel better soon.
Well i have only just sat down today, have been dragging stuff into the loft, assembling furniture, moving beds and going through and moving all of our clothes!Bad thing is that (this is going to sound dodgy!) I spent a lot of time on my knees(!) on hard flooring in the loft while OH was handing things up to me and know my knees are sore, bruised and swollen.
I am happy with everything we got done though, and had a healthy day with a gorgeous salmon and prawn fish pie made by OH for dinner! For everyone who struggles to be good during the weekend, I can sympathise!0 -
BB - hope you feel better soon :grouphug: .
Am I being dumb? - have you said why you are taking a chemo drug? Sorry if I have missed the post or am sticky beaking where I shouldn't?

I've done it, I finally lost some weight this week!! :j
1.5lb loss for me please. I need to lose another 2lb to drop down into the next stone so I'm setting myself a 2 week target to do that.
I'm off to the gym tonight, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I've got my Wii fitness coach to do too and the next session is taking all my measurements again and measuring my fitness, I might do that this morning while kids are relatively quiet.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend everyoneDMP mutual support number 199Debt free in [strike]2025[/strike] 2018 (hopefully a lot sooner!):j Smokefree since 10pm 2/7/08 :jBaby no.3 due 29/04/20110 -
well done simbalou! is fitness coach any good then? hope you are feeling better too bb. Had a fun day out yesterday - didn't get very far with the padded armour but had a great time. Had my body block done - basically ended up pinned into a sheet which i then had to cut out and trace onto paper - this is what you then use to make patterns for clothes. most bizarre as everyone decided that the blocks needed decorating so as i was standing there being pinned I had people writing rude things all over me and i couldn't do anything about it. Most entertaining watching hte guys being fitted for hose - one got sent home for having unsuitable underwear on. You havet o get VERY close to fit hose properly. . .
eating wise, yesterdays plan was . .
Weetabix minis and milk; glass oj
cn cornflakes and milk; apple
cup soup
vietnamese chicken stirfry(ainsley dinner kit) with noodles. glass tomato juice.
This ended up being . . .
Weetabix minis and milk; glass oj
cn cornflakes and milk; apple
couple of bites of a burger and a few chips; couple of bites of victoria sponge
vietnamese chicken stirfry(ainsley dinner kit) with noodles. glass tomato juice.
feel very pleased with that - the others all had kfc for lunch and i ate my cereal; and oh didn't like his noodles and offered them to me and i said no! woo!
Weekly treat day today so . . .
cooked breakfast - bacon scrambled egg, mushroom, sausage; glass oj
dinner - roast chicken with spinach, mushroom and potato dauphinoise; glas tom juice0 -
I like Fitness coach but don't love it (if you know what I mean?!) It's nice to be able to test your fitness and keep a record of your measurements to have a look at. I have to have lots of fitness dvd's so I haven't got any excuse not to exercise if I can't get to the gym. The Fitness coach lets you work out in small bursts of 15 mins or longer which means I can fit it in before picking kids up etc. It doesn't make me sweat either like the gym does.DMP mutual support number 199Debt free in [strike]2025[/strike] 2018 (hopefully a lot sooner!):j Smokefree since 10pm 2/7/08 :jBaby no.3 due 29/04/20110

Sorry to hear you haven't bunced back yet bb. I think sometimes there are more important things that monitoring the food and damage limitation is an admirable goal....think if I was you I would have mainline the kitkats by now
