Off for my HHA @ 7pm, anyone welcome as usual, unless you've already done yours :p Most films over the past year or so have been forgetable, they just don't make them like they used to :(

Victory I think you both got a point, what you doing obviously works for you.

Vixarooni good luck with the neww V job.

    Kazz welcome

Buttons Tesco deliver my shopping, they bring the crates to the door or will take to kitchen if you like. Never tried Asda.

We now own the bungalow, so the hard work starts now.
Been so busy so food not an issue.

Yep, did mine this morning at the gym after my induction. 30 cals on treadmill to warm up, 120 cals on cross trainer, 75 cals on rower, 105 cals on cross trainer (without the arms) + machine weights and dumbells - thoroughly HHA'd.

OH has just brought in one of the many boxes of chocs I bought from Tesco's but I made him go and sit on the other settee next to DD. So I am safely away from them - those calories are mine!!!!

    Evening guys,

Victory - did you ask your OH why he seems so concerned about your apparently large portion sizes? Is he concerned that if you go back to eating unhealthy foods again, you've not addressed the size? Perhaps if you were to tell him the calorie values of your veg laden meals, compared with one with potatoes/pasta/rice, he may realise that they are actually very healthy, and you're using the veg to bulk out your meal?

Ironically, my OH commented again this evening 'are you eating enough'? Now, when you're on a diet, you probably don't need to be Einstein to work that one out! I've changed my dinner plate to a much smaller one, the kind of size the kiddies plastic Noddy ones were. I am being extra concientous at the mo, but that's because I want to break through my first stone loss barrier next week. I'm in the zone, and I am going for it!

Spicey - congrats on the move. I hope you'll settle in quickly, and that you'll be really happy there.

Kazz - welcome to the Loser thread! You'll find lots of support here.

    - I applied for a job today too. It's at a new store that's due to open here soon, but I've not done retail for years, so I don't hold out much hope, but a p/t position would be ideal for me right now. I'm so skint! Good luck with your application. Don't necessarily believe that the 'C' in maths is set in stone, you may have other qualifications that show you have the ability needed.

Buttons - Grrrr! on your behalf. That's really not on, is it? Next time if he arrives with it all in bags, and not crates, tell him you won't accept delivery. I'm sure he'll be getting a big ticking off, and hopefully a deduction on his pay. That's just bad, lazy service.

I like watching the weightloss programmes too, but OH isn't so keen, so they're more of a guilty pleasure when he's at work! It could be worse, I could be having it away with the milkman (altho' we don't have a milkman, ha ha)!

I had a lovely afternoon visiting a good friend of mine. We drank coffee and tea, and talked about everything and nothing - the best kind of chats.

I've had a low cal day today, not exactly intentionally, but the w/end is always harder to stick with everything, so it's like having a headstart.

    B - porridge
L - 1 hot cross bun (cold, not buttered)
D - 2 small breaded chicken breast mini fillets, portion of mixed veg

I feel hungry now, but it's almost bedtime, and I feel tired after a bit of a disturbed sleep last night, so it's a combination of smaller meals, and tiredness. No real exercise, so not earnt any treats.

My OH went to open the box of Thorntons choccies I've got sat beside me, and I've forbidden him for breaking the seal! I've told him that they are my constant, daily challenge. They are there to taunt me, to test my will power, and strengthen my weaknesses. He wasn't impressed, because he just wanted a chocolate!

    Have a great weekend all!

Think there are rules about giving out the slimming world passwords.
Sure someone who knows will be along soon.

  • 2.2lb loss on 13132 calories. This is only 1lb above my 'maintaining' weight :j .

Although I started the week off on a diet very high in chocolate (2485 and 2863 calories on Sat/Sun) I finished the week on healthy food and joined the gym.

I'm now back on track, and off to a spin class.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Sorry, it is strictly against MSE rules to give out the password. We used to do it and Martin was threatened with legal action which could have cost him a lot of money and even shut down the site.
SW is going digital soonish anyway (lots of classes are already there) and each member will have an electronic swipe card for weigh in etc., this number will also be used for signing into the site and it will not allow you to pass the number on to anyone else.
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!
