  • Oh yeah, remember I had that op on my back 2weeks ago, well it's started to hurt now and I felt my back and there is a HUGE massive lump under it now, maybe fluid? I'm not sure if I should go to the docs or wait until it goes? Feels kinda gross though.

When you left the hospital did they give you a number to contact in case of 'complications'/concerns? If so, phone that, if not contact your GP, or NHS direct - do it as soon as you can - if it is nothing your mind will be put to rest, if it is more then the sooner it is sorted the better.

Have a hug :grouphug: , now go do...

Morning everyone! Saturday is upon us, that's when the sweet cupboard comes alive....or, maybe that's just in my house!

I seem to have no will power during the week when I'm away from home. Luckily I don't have much food available except the bits for my lunches but I still can't stop myself snacking. At home during the weekend I seem to do better even if I have packs of biscuits in or large bars of chocolate.

Just goes to show 1 size doesn't fit all - I'm the opposite, in control during the week at work and then often lose it at the weekend

ffm - well done on your loss

purplevamp - well done on your STS

sandhya95 - Welcome to the thread. Lots doing SW here, so you'll find lots of support along the way.

I've had a busy old day today chaps. Spent the entire day outside shovelling sand, moving it up to the end of the garden, then lifting some paving slabs from one end of the garden, and wheeling them in the barrow down the other end of it. We're laying the base for my large shed to be put up on (my shed is still to be dismantled at my house - that's next week's job). We ran out of sand, so I've ordered some more to be delivered on Monday. Then I began tidying up the garden, and decided OH's apple tree needed a good trim, so secateurs and saw at the ready, I've made it look much better. OH and I feel shattered now!

OH & I have made up, so all's good here again now. It wasn't nice last week.

    Food for today:

    B - porridge
L - bacon roll - to keep up my strength!:o
D - 50g wholegrain rice, stir fry veg, quorn fillets & sweet n sour sauce

Got to put that lot into Foodfocus to work out my cals, but I think with all the exertion today, I'll be fine.

The week is fine for me food wise it is the weekends when the kids and OH are around and ask for things and they eat what I don't eat that is when the need arises def:rolleyes: rarely give in but think of food a lot more at the weekends that I do in the week because during the week it is pre planned, I know when what I am going to eat, the weekends are much more relaxed:rolleyes: thoughts of dinner out or takeaways come into mind:D

nmm done wii fit this morning with the kids, great fun, they stopped hassling me and inter acted for a change so managed to get all the aerobics done and went on the board a few times, even got the little one to stop and start the step and step plus if it comes up o.k and not perfect, I heard him say 'I have to get on the board, I have to get on the board' :rotfl: :rotfl: must rememeber to keep my thoughts to myself:rotfl:

Yup, I always use own brand flour for my bread loaves. I couldn't tell the difference between them and Hovis, and at the price they want for that an Allinson flour  Tesco have just put up the price of their flour by 21p! An outrage! Lidl used to do theirs for under 50p, but I don't live near enough to one to make the journey cost effective.

I often try own brand versions of foods, as sometimes they can actually be nicer than the brand names. Sainsburys value beans are good, and my family can't tell the difference between them and Heinz. I actually prefer some of the own brand soups, especially Sainsbury's chunky veg ones. Well worth a try to save money.
