DMV & Buttonmoons *HUGS*
Yesterday was a good day!
Me and Andy decided to bike over to his parents house. It is 7.5miles from ours!!
SO we left at 1.30pm and got there at 2.30pm, an hour, not bad since it's the first time on the bikes this year! Then we stayed for a bit and left at 4 and got home 4.50! So I felt really good to do that, and it was nice to do it with Andy. Although, my bum is sore today! Haha
Food was
Breakfast 2 wholemeal toast, marg
Dinner- Chicken dinner - normal sunday lunch!
Snack-Orange(his mam gave me an orange when we got there!)
Tea-Tuna pitta, with mayo and rocket
I stayed at my friends house last night and we had a hot chocolate and a few cheeky chocolates while we watched a film, but nothing too damaging!
Mind you, saturday night when we were watching the boxing, andy thought it would be a good idea for a takeaway
Sooo we got 14" Bolegnase pizza 10" Garlic Bread 1/2lb chicken burger Portion of coleslaw and portion of chips...
Out of that I ate 1/2 1/2lb chicken burger, 1/2slice of b pizza 1/2 a slice of g/b 1/2 coleslaw and a few chips, so not alot, in comparison to what was there!!! Didn't feel too bad, and we had been for our run on the morning.
Todays food
B-Weetabix (i had 3, was v hungry)
Snack-Banana
Dinner-Thai style cous cous, with onions, mushrooms, chicken and rocket -YUMMY!
Snack-I have a yoghurt and an apple in the fridge at work, but not sure if I'll need any, cos lunch has filled me up sufficiently!
Tea-Chicken stir fry, with noodles and pitta bread
I think tonight will be rest night, as the bike ride was tough and my muscles and subsequently aching today
Have a good day all!Marrying my gorgeous Andy27 July 2013 at Gretna GreenSealed pot challenge..Saving for the HONEYMOONWill be cracking open the pot of dreams May 2013 :j0 -
I had to quickly pop back on, cos I just went down to the kitchen from my desk to clean my tupperware box, and there was a tub of hobnobs on the bench, and I kid you not, someone has stuck a sticker on, which reads "Eat me" I had to Laugh out loud when I saw it, wish I could have taken a pic to show you all!Marrying my gorgeous Andy27 July 2013 at Gretna GreenSealed pot challenge..Saving for the HONEYMOONWill be cracking open the pot of dreams May 2013 :j0

hi guys, reporting a 1lb loss :j well done on the losses and its not fair is it dragon, i hope you get a loss next week
linz, congrats on the cycling, just think of the toned bum you'll haveWe use ordinary shears not electric ones but i apparently snapped the rivet, he blames my workouts :rotfl: I bought him a new set of telescopic ones for £10 so he's happy and banned me from using them. My hands are not as bad as some of the pain people are in on here, its basically red lumps like chilblains but on most of my fingers makes it hard to hold things like knifes etc thankfully i only get it in winter, it'll be gone soon
BM, you daughter looks lovely

Congrats nmm and marion.
Comiserations Dragon.
Have managed to lose 0.5lb which i'm pretty pleased with as I had another weekend away visiting relations and eating out. Although I know what the better options are on the menus I haven't got the knack of always persuading myself to eat them unless I have pre planned the restaurant and meal. I am going to redouble my efforts tho as have been getting a bit relaxed lately and would like to shift the last stone by my friends' wedding on May 23. So 9 weeks and about 16lbs could be doable and I'd settle for almost hitting the target.0 -

Victory I tried really hard to make a go of things with my mum and all the times when we wasn't in contact she tried (in a very sick way) to make contact again. However the last time I properly saw her she had just "made up" with one of my sisters and told me she didn't need me now she had her and her kids and has never tried to see me again, no 18th birthday card etc. The reason why she always "hated" me was because her parents both died very close to when I was born, and she suddenly became some weird version of religious (?!) and interpreted the bibles explanation of life and death to mean they had to die because I was born. Therefore I was an "evil" child. My sister once told me that she started having contact with our mum again because the resentment was making her tired. I felt like that for a while but now I wont think of her from one month to the next, and when I talk to my nephew about "grandma" I dont really make the link that she is my mum if that makes sense. I view my childhood as sort of like a film that I sometimes think about when promted (eg today) but see as seperate from my life almost like it never happened. Was forced to have councelling (sp?) at school when they found out I'd left my mums and have never considered it since. Has probably influenced the fact that I want to work with children though, and our (myself and OH) life is all geared up towards having children, even our careers have been carefully chosen to work around it!
Foooooooooood wise. OH had a choice of roast chicken, or roasted chicken but with chips instead. He chose chips, so apart from the couple I will pinch off of his plate, I shall have cous cous instead. Yummy dinner.0 -
Oh and dragon, sorry your meds are so harsh x0
