    It's a 2lb loss for me this week :j

That also brings me into the overweight bmi range HOOORAAAAAY

I must admit when I look in the mirror I still see myself as huge, ok I AM still 2stone (exactly) overweight but I still see myself as bigger, if you get what I mean?

I'm suprised I managed to loose any weight this week, I've been picking at bad junk all week, fell out with my friend (He hasn't been in touch or even apologised so he can just go **** his dog :p) and my mum isn't talking to me either, because I won't lend her money  She already owes me over £400 from "borrowed money that I'll get next week but never see again"
I have a weird reletionship with my mum, most normal sensible people would of cut her off as soon as I moved out, she was a total ***** to me when I was growing up, yet muggins me can't seem to break contact with her.....She's very good at guilt tripping you, but you mention what she has done or said to me and it's THAT NEVER HAPPENED - I'm just like....

Keira seems to be coming down with a cold so she is a proper moody chops today, refuses to put on cosy pyjamas and running around starkers, got some cute photos of her yesterday at her grandmas, we helped her to dig her veg plot, and Keira threw a worm in my hair! EWWWWW:eek:

I love this photo of her, it's her "pocoyo" face, if you haven't seen pocoyo, its a kids show and when he's upset he hummphs and has a P'eed off look.

Anyways what an epic. Hope you all have a great day!

you are best off without your 'friend'

Your mum is just like loads of others, mine does not borrow money off me but she has damaged me with her 'emotional torture',mental abuse:rolleyes: yes you could break off like I could and millions would but then again you would not have a mum:rolleyes:

Victory I'm gonna play the other side of the coin now! I left my mums at 13 and tried desperately to have a relationship with her but she was a drunk who couldnt help herself when it came to emotional/mental and physical abuse. Just before I turned 16 I completely cut myself off (it helps that my parents are split up) from her, and have only briefly seen her since (not planned). I believe very much in self preservation and that sometimes we have to find the strength to do what is best for us, just having a child doesn't make you a "mum". I mean thats what we all say about men isn't it? I would love to have a mum, but mine is awful so I'm better off without one.

Now I know that makes me sound hard, but I just couldnt take any more heartbreak. Also I found out last year that most of my health problems were caused by my childhood "accidents" so I could never forgive her. I'm now debating whether to send this reply because apart from being off topic (!) I feel like I'm laying myself bare with regard to something I don't normally talk about. Buttons I guess the point that I'm trying to make here is that if you can find a balance with your mum then great, but sometimes in life we need to give up or make a clean break to look after our own best interests.

Now back to food and weightloss! I've actually got the asda "great stuff" own brand chocolate angel delight stuff which is gorgeous and 4 for £1. Is the sainsburys one better taste/price wise?

OH likes the butterscotch, I prefer choc or strawberry. My own asda dont actually sell the |"proper brand! choc angel delight so I have no comparison there.

DMV - That sounds awful and only we can make that decision. I do love my mum but I find her very hard to understand, she is very childish for a woman who is 40 this year, she thinks the world owes her everything and is utterly money obsessed, probably because she doesn't have any, she has no idea what "cutting the cloth" is about.

The biggest issue I had with her growing up was that she always always always took my step-dads side, he used to constantly belittle me, calling me fat, used to moan if I ate any of "his" food and generally being an A-hole, my sisters never got any of that because obviously I wasn't "his"
They used to tell me things like "oh we are going out shopping to asda be back soon" I used to loathe shopping so naturally didn't want to go anyways, only to wonder where they were hours later, I even phoned the hospital once thinking they had been in an accident, but no, there was a big family bbq (his side of the family) so they left me out. They did that with loads of other things, I can remember being left home on Xmas day when they went to his parents for Xmas dinner, and I got some scraps taken home.

I look back now and wonder why they did those things because my step-dads family have always accepted me as one of theirs, I got no different from their "biological" grandchildren, his mum was estatic when I had Keira as she said "She never thought she'd live to see the day she was a great grandparent"

Funnily enough I have no problems with my Step-dad now I've moved out, he is nothing but nice, but my younger sister (the oldest one) is now on the end of his warpath. My mum says she wants a divorce and apparently he was supposed to have moved out months ago, well he is still there, and my mum STILL takes his side, as my sister phoned me in tears at the weekend as he had hit her (she is 15 !!!!!!, bit beyond the smacked bum stage) and my mum was taking his side as per usual. Kinda why I haven't TRIED to make contact with her, I offered my sister to come live here with me, but she won't, they mess with your head and would make YOU feel bad for wanting to leave. It's a messed up situation. I'd love nothing more than to slap some sense into her, she really is a bad parent, has no parenting skills whatsoever, aslong as you are quiet and stay out of her way then there is no problem.

If I handed her my bank card and said, HELP YOURSELF. She would actually clear me out, she stole my rent money once....

Anyways enough of my Jeremy Kyle-esque familee.

I've had bran flakes & a banana for breakfast.
It's now lunch time and I'm not hungry, though I did have quite a large bowl.
No idea what I'm having for tea, think I might just have some baked potatoes and put out salad, tuna, egg mayo, cold meats etc, and we can just help ourselves. The leftovers can make OH's sandwichs for rest of the week aswell.

Now I best go change my cats litter box before I die from the stink, I only cleaned it out 2days ago but the little rotter must of stole something to eat it shouldn't of because it's bum logs are stinking up my house, it's like walking through a fog of botty burps.

Dragon - Sorry to hear you've gained, those tablets sound evil, is it actually fat you put on or just water retention? It must be SO hard to stay motivated when your medication usurps your weight loss plans. I just want to say I think you are great for not giving up, you'll get there. *Hugs*

Not off topic at all sweetheart, all this emotional baggage that a lot of us carry around is what makes us over eat. I finally figured out why I want to make myself fat and unattractive to men, and it was that realisation that enabled me to finally start to lose weight!

sary out for lunch def head for subway fresh salad and lean turkey sub of the day 245 cals low in fats and sugars and salts perfect WW healthy eating, subway all the time on wholemeal or head to Boots and get their healthy eating brown bread sandwiches or sushi which is high in protein low in cals etc and very good for you, never macs or KFC or burger king no need, the kids go there but I always buy my subway or sushi or boots they have what they want and I keep to my cals etc:D

I am always laughed at by the kids because I go prepared and take all my lunches etc with me, if we go to the cinema I take my own crackers or snack a jacks etc never pay there £8.50 for popcorn and coke !! take sprite sugar free, everywhere I go food goes with me partly and mainly I guess because I am tight, short on cash and can't afford lunches out etc and also being diabetic don't want to be caught out with no food, if I take it with me (second nature, food and my lucozade tablets incase I have a hypo and don't have to resort to sugar in choc)
I know exactly what I am eating the points WW etc are and can continue my healthy eating plan without thinking about it, subway I never think about that because I know what it is but if we go elsewhere all the questions come how fattening is that? what is the sugar content? etc so I come prepared even when I go round other people houses I take my bovril because no one drink it they all drink coffee and tea and I don't.
Victory well done you for all of the planning ahead that you do, it's good that you have food with you all the time, it must definately make a difference, not only to your weight but also your bank balance! Thats fab :T
Polkadot :j:j:j WELL DONE ON THE LOSS!!!! :j:j:j

let me know what you decide with the hula hoop fiasco...I am still in two minds! Andy reckons that doing actual sit-ups and ab exercises would be more fullfilling and feel you've acheived more, than using a hoop

Welcome to CherryPie you will love it here, just check in everyday if you can, as it's hard to keep up otherwise, as you will see with this mammoth post, I have not been on since Saturday!

NMM well done on attempting to cut the hedge, I'm always scared I will cut the wire, so I would leave that to OH, and so should you have since you've had bad hands lately :naughty:

DMV if you don't like quorn, but would still like to try a meat alternative, why not try Birdseye Vegetable Fingers, they are yummy! Or they also do salmon fingers now, which are great and most definately lower in fat than sausages.

FFM Well done on STS! :T

1Hannah I like to think your way of thinking too, and hopefully this week will be a GOOD week ALL week!

Missy I had my rest nights Thurs and Fri!

Sarymclary Yummmm to Hot X Buns, I swear they keep looking at me in the supermarket, shouting "Lynsey, come here, you know you want me!!" haha like the beuno advert! No doubt I will give in at some point, and buy some :rotfl:
