Wow what a lot I have just had to catch up on it has taken me over an hour !!!!
I thought my Mum was a pain but compared to what some of you have gone through I feel blessed.
Buttonmoons I think only you can make that decision but reading everything you said I can see both sides as to why you can and can't. Also well done on the 2lb loss :j
Victory I think your food idea is great I wish I could be as organised as you and take food with me. I do always take a bottle of water though. Also well done on your decision to come off the chart, I'm glad that your weight is stable but please continue on the forum as it would not be the same without you. And I am still trying to get upto your free step target
Dragon Sorry to hear about the meds you are taking, I am sure eventually the weight will start to go down again, but please don't sulk in the corner
andyslinz The hobnob incident had me in stitches my OH thought it was the funniest thing too so has made our evenings :T
I'm not looking forward to getting on the scales this week as a full week back eating 3 times a day I expect a lot more of that weight to be on againAlthough 117,500 steps round the eden project on thursday may have helped work some of it off (fingers crossed). Even though I have not been for physio yet I am very tempted to get back on the cross trainer this week as 5 weeks on from my accident I am really missing the exercise.
Have a good evening everyone and I am going to try and keep up a little better :rotfl: (I can dream)

FFM - great sts.
Victory - that's such a huge milestone COMING OFF THE CHART.
andy - will let you know what I do about the hoop idea. Your OH is probably right, but I like the fun aspect of the hoop so might actually do it where as sit ups I wouldn't last at.
Great to see people take on board missy's voice of expertise re the day off from exercise:T .
Sorry to hear you are struggling hannah - well done for keep coming back to good days.
Dragon - your committement to keep trying is humbling.
Sorry - brain a bit frazzled & can't remember who else said what- we were up from 3-5a.m. with police in the house taking statements... from an incident outside our house...
Good news is that day 3 of BB focus focus focus and I'm staying on strict sw red day plan:
bkfast - fried bacon ,egg, toms, mushrooms: in frylight and fat trimmed off.

dinner: HM chicken diapaz with colliflour & peppers. Very yum.
snacks: fruit & HEB weetabix
Also good news, I have been contacted following an email enquiry re a very local pilates class for beginners.Don't know cost of time yet but may be just what I am looking for. Fingers crossed.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Reporting a 0.5lb gain this week. Argh!! Must have been the Chinese we had Saturday night. I thought the fact we had spent the afternoon taking the kitchen floor tiles up and scraping all the gunk up would have balanced it out!!
Just back from 50 mins salacise followed by 50 mins of pilates - so that should cancel the chinese.:rotfl:
And it looks like the weather is finally brightening up, time to get the hiking boots on. Did a little 4 mile jaunt round the moors near home yesterday.
I am just so hungry most of the time.Jane 21120 -
I'm currently 11st something and would like to be 9st something!! Cherry Pie
You and me both. I am still struggling at the 11st something stange, but have lost 7lbs since New Year. Slowly does it. I am not following any plan just trying to cut out the cr*p that I usually eat, and eat a bit more fruit and veg. Oh and do a bit more exercise. But I am not martyering myself to it. if I am out for the day walking etc and fancy a nice scone at the end of the day I have one.
There is nothing worse than a diet bore:D
Having a change from salacise - going to try 'Burlesque Chair Dancing' in April :rotfl:Jane 21120 -

I'm just checking in quickly before bed...
well done on the losses, there are some good ones already this week.
Dragon, grrr! on your behalf, but kudos to you for sticking with things, despite your meds being against you.
Thanks to the guys who've shared their stories with us here. I've not had contact with my own parents for 16 years, after realising the simple fact that you can't choose your family, but that doesn't mean they are always a positive thing in your life. It takes strength and a lot of wrangling with thoughts and emotions to make a decision like that. I see the hassle my siblings are still dealing with even now, and I don't envy them.
Anyway, I dont' want to ramble on, especially as I should be in bed already!
Food today:
B - wholemeal nimble toast
L - M&S fat free vanilla yogurt, strawberries, & apple
cold roast chicken, 1 slice nimble
D - chicken & mixed veg
Snack - a handful of ritz crackers
I cycled 4 miles today. It was so lovely to be out in the sunshine. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
I don't envy you Sary, I wish I could go out cycling, it was such a lovely day here today aswell, and there is a nice path that goes right round the beach, nice smooth pavements, and you always see people rollerskating etc down there, my only problem is, where do I stick my munchkin?
I was considering getting one of those seats that go on the back of your bike but I've heard mixed reviews about how safe those are, and those trailers that attach to your bike seem worse!
Has anyone ever had/used one of those seats? Are they unsafe? It's not like I'd be cycling on the road and she isn't old enough to have a bike of her own, she can still only manage to peddle backwards on her trike haha.0
